The location was finé and the host attentive. Breakfast was continental (toast, croissant, pain au chocolat, yoghurt, coffee or tea). We chose to eat in for dinner, and the first night’s meal was excellent. The host had to be away from the hotel the next day so the meal was not of the same standard, but we would eat in again on a future visit.

The host Eric was amazing, we had a total disaster with both of our vehicles breaking down and he came out to pick us up. We had requested dinner in the evening and by the time my husband made it there to join us it was after 11pm but we still were able to enjoy a three course dinner! The breakfast in the morning was very good too, all done to our preferences as was the evening meal. Eric went out of his way to accommodate us with every detail. He was very helpful, friendly, patient and professional. The house is lovely with a lot of character and the view from the terrace is beautiful. We will definitely return.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though it's clearly out of season, they were more than happy to accommodate a drink at the bar in the evening, and the continental breakfast was nice - the croissants and pain au chocolates were very fresh and crisp.
Rooms were well sized and they have clearly thought about the modern traveller and installed USB charging points in the bedside tables/in the bedside lamps.
Looks like Les Conches would be great for a family stay, with pool and hot tub open in the summer.
I feel like the hosts have really tried to think about their guests and welcome them.

The studio was equiped with everything you could want. Very good coffee machine. Breakfast was supllied as well. Plenty of tea and coffee. Bed was very confortable. Sound proving was very good. It is near the road but we did not hear road noise. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. Brilliant place. Definately would rent again.

The location is gorgeous with views across the rolling hills of the Perigord Vert. The Studio was actually bigger than I expected, more of a ground floor studio apartment with a kitchen-diner, shower room, separate toilet and a lovely lounge/bedroom with a small dressing area & another small room connecting to the kitchen. The bed is fabulously French and the decor very well done. We had a great week there despite some unseasonally wet weather.
Thievery’s is a nice town. The centre is old but there are nome nice restaurants there. People are friendly, there are 2 local breweries if you like craft beer. St Jean de Cole is 10 minutes away and Brantome is just 15 mins more. Both very beautiful but much more expensive to stay in.

Thiviers has seen better days.
Thiviers has seen better days. We found that there were many shops that have been closed down, many houses are deserted and are falling down. This small town looks poor and somewhat neglected. We visited over the w/e and at the end of the tourist season, and we found that all restaurants were closed on Sunday. It is easy to get around, and in absence of any attractions one can get an impression quite quickly.
On the positive side, on Saturdays a large and varied market is set up in the morning. The centre of Thiviers is teeming with life then, and it shows off well the ancient buildings. Around Thiviers is lovely countryside, and if you like walking then that is definitely a good area to spend time.
This hotel is run by a very warm and accommodating couple who go out of there way to make you comfortable. The town is beautiful with a few nice food and drink options and a well connected station.
We stayed in the family bedroom which accommodates 5 adults. We expected the beds to be crammed in somewhat but there was plenty of space between them all. We all had a great nights sleep. The bathroom seemed newly renovated.
beautiful property with an excellent terrace, our room (2) was very large with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. the owners are lovely and could not have been more helpful. we didn’t eat there as the restaurant is not open on Sunday night, however we were told that the food is excellent. short walk into the town of Thiviers means that the location is perfect. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great location, looking over the fields and a perfect view on Thiviers with its church and chateau. Only 5 min. walking from the nice small town. Very nice room with a terrace in the garden. Breakfast (with home made croissant/pain au chocolat) and diner outside with a view. Hosts both very kind and helpfull. Bed was perfect and shower too. Good stay also for randonneurs (Compostella and GR654).
Great location within walking distance of the market square of Thiviers. The room was very comfortable and in our particular room the bathroom evoked the charm of early 1900's Art Nouveau France. Plenty of car parking space available in front of the hotel or in the private car park behind. The Wifi bandwidth was good and English TV available in our room.
Good location within easy walking distance of Thiviers town. The property exceeded our expectations- rooms and pool updated from what was shown on website. Friendly hosts and great views from outside seating area. Nice french breakfast. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely stay.
location, quietness, nice and cool inside on a very hot day. Lovely pool. very hospitable host. Easy parking and secure for our bikes which were on the car as we were about to cycle La Flow Velo cycle route from Thiviers.
Great location, free parking on the road in front of hotel, nice period property, comfortable and clean room and bathroom, nice size room, great restaurant (separate ownership) onsite.
Peaceful location on the outskirts of Thiviers. Very good set up with access to fridge and microwave. Very friendly owner and lovely traditional french breakfast.
