A beautiful Chateau in equally beautiful location. Room was massive and very comfortable and everything finished to a high standard. Hosts were very helpful (dinner recommendations made life a lot easier) and couldn't have been more obliging. They even supplied ice for a fellow traveller who'd hurt their knee. Breakfast was immense and even with my best intentions to sample everything - not sure I did it justice. Would definitely recommend.

great and kind people who take care of the castle. Very kind and great enthusiasts. If you want to feel a touch of the French past, this is a great place. The nature is like being in paradise. When you sleep in the rooms, you feel like you are going back 200 years. And the bathroom is excellent. The dinner was homely delicious, and the breakfast was excellent.

Gaiety and elegance are the two words which automatically spring to mind to describe this magnificent 18th-century chateau, a listed building set amongst exquisite French gardens and parkland.

Lovely friendly welcome by host. Quaint and quirky, we arrived after dark and woke to see goats and a pony behind in the field. Comfy bed, warm caravan. Very clean and all towels and bedding provided. A super base for a night.

The accommodation was very clean, the "ship's room" was full of nice details, you get the feeling that you are actually in the ship's cabin, which is handy when you are visiting the location for the Allied landings. The host gave us tips on what to see in the area of our travels. The breakfasts were excellent.
