The area of Venissieux feels more like the outskirts of Lyon...
The area of Venissieux feels more like the outskirts of Lyon. My visit to the area was just because of hotel location and not necessarily a visit to explore the area. At first travellers may be taken back by the area as its not not very well maintained i.e. there are overgrowing grass and schrubs on street sides, but if your there just for a 1 night stay and want easy access to the town centre either by car or public transport then its fine as a location.

It's economical but not so comfortable since it is far from most attractions and you need to spare some time for the transportation. Be aware of the pickpocket especially in rush hour! We had lost our warlet with credit cards and cash that it has caused quite a trouble!慶慶麟Taiwan - 10Scored 10

It's really ok to spend a night and not pay a fortune, and it's relatively close to the centre of Lyon comparing to other budget hotels. We slept well, the bed mattress may not be king size, but it's comfortable. We actually thought it would be worse than it was. So if you're looking for a cheap place for a quick stay, this one may be for you.DariaBelgium

The staff, Lamine and Salima, were exceptionally went above the standard to help us when our car broke down after check out. They even went to the nearby garage to bring a merchanic to fix the problem and stayed wirh us to make sure we are ok until we left. Truly a hero! Thank you very very much! I would highly recommend this hotel. They look after you!
