Reception was helpful. The position of the hotel is very good for access to the highway. Easy to get into the town. Room was clean and breakfast was a plus. Parking was good.
Excellent place - well located not all that far from the motorway and close to the Quincy and Reuilly wine areas of the Loire. We enjoyed a very good dinner in the hotel restaurant. Sadly arrived too late to try out the pool but this hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay - and is dog-friendly. Especially recommended to Bernese Mountain Dog owners - by sheer coincidence there were 2 there the night we stayed!
The hotel has very recently been taken over by Pascale and what a great job she is doing. The room was very clean, slightly on the small side, but adequate with a small en-suite...the highlight of the stay was the dinner prepared for us. It was made with love..., 3courses, and a good bottle of red.. breakfast was very good-fresh croissants, breads, coffee etc...
There is parking outside the hotel. We didn't use the swimming pool.
It’s a typically old style French decor hotel in a go reat location about 5-10 minutes from autoroutes. Warm welcome. Very dog friendly. Great food. We were given a bigger room which was appreciated. Shower was great pressure and bed comfortable. Dinner was optional and both delicious and good value.
Total cost was about the same as a hotel chain but we think a much more enjoyable experience.
Typical small rural French hotel/restaurant
The lady owner could not do enough for us.
She arranged for a local hairdresser to come and do my wife's hair
I was not feeling very well. She phoned the local chemist, then drove there to collect some tablets for me.
Great location in a small rural French village just off the motorway
The Hotel and restaurant were charming. We sat reading books in the shade overlooking the pool then ate dinner under a large canopy overlooking the garden. The owner Pascal was charming and super helpful. I ll never forget her help when our dog was ill. The perfect place to enjoy a break for a long drive.
nice hotel and nice and friendly staff. We used it as intermediate hotel to get to our final destination.
There was only one choice in menu (which was very good and well prepared), but they adapted it a bit for one of my children who did not like the original one.
Nice building with private parking which felt safe. Pleasant dining room where we had breakfast and dinner which were both OK. The owners are relatively new to the hotel and they are maybe doing their best and made us feel welcome.
convenient location and great for an evening walk into the countryside after a long drive. nice to be able to eat in the hotel restaurant. interesting property.
