It was lovely a home from home. Sandra and Gilles were superb hosts and very welcoming. The restaurant opposite was fabulous and such good value for money. Only thing we would have changed would have been gone a little higher season but at least it was peaceful.

The highlight of our Pyrenees trip. To our total surprise this turned out to be the most charming experience, our host Frederique and his wife Veronique pulled all the stops to make this an unforgettable experience.
Frederique, a producer of Armangnac, shared his vast knowledge and immersed us in the local culture and business, including a tasting of different ages of Armagnac. His wife served a splendid dinner, shared with a couple from Belgium, in the garden courtyard.
The room and toilet in the historical building were large, renovated with care and oozed plenty of charme. The pool was great, plenty of lounge chairs in a wonderful garden setting. Not the least we were spoiled with a fantastic view of the Perseides that night.

The hotel is such a surprise. I arrive in a sleepy small town; can’t find the hotel and chance on this gem
with furniture and decor that Louis 14th would have been happy with: all on a small & intimate scale. I loved it. Kieran

As others have noted, this is quite an exceptional boutique hotel. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding with "Monsieur Herve" himself explaining the provenance of the ingredients. Everything is home made and you can taste the quality.
The dessert of conference pear tart with caramel and chilled marscapone was just delightful.
We'd recommend staying here and would hope to return again.
The hotel itself is very large and has several themed rooms, clearly they were well presented at one time but age is showing and they need redecorating ( hopefully) without changing the ambience of the building itself, there was a contractor working so this maybe underway, we only stayed one night and never took advantage of the breakfast or dinner options. there is secure parking on site for an additional small fee.
A beautiful, authentic, charming hotel. Large rooms, big bathroom with shower and bath. Lovely staff. An absolutely fantastic breakfast: delicious homemade bread and pastries, fruit salade with figs and prunes from the hotel garden, eggs, fresh pressed fruit juice, yoghurt and cereals.
This hotel lies in a small, quiet and picturesque village. With an absolutely amazing and kind host who went above and beyond expectation. A great, clean and spacious room. The dinner was incredible and would recommend it to all who stay at this wonderful hotel.
Fantastic hotel, oldie world charm. This hotel has been in the same family for seven generations. Large well appointed room with great facilities. The owner could not do enough for us.
we were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed a lovely evening meal together with a hearty breakfast - from the same family that have run the hotel for 140 years
