Glen the owner has created a fantasies place with everything you need. The location is perfect, just 5 mins walk from railway station and town. The view from the bedroom window overlooking the kyles was stunning.
Will definitely be top of our list when we visit the area again. It would be a perfect base to explore Skye.

Super welcoming hosts and lovely little space where we felt very comfortable! Also it’s super close to the Skye bridge and there lots of lovely walks in the area. They offered a little breakfast which was a great surprise.
Nothing to dislike. Applecross Inn served good food .

I took the pass road in. Magnificent experience but not for the faint hearted.

Amazing views, especially on the Applecross pass.
Amazing views, especially on the Applecross pass. Take a drive around the coastal route covering the entire peninsula which has some beautiful places. Take a minute to stop at the view points, get out of your vehicle and walk into the wilderness. Enjoy the breath taking views. Applecross has a few amazing places to stay (like Hartfield House), and to eat (like Applecross Walled Garden).

Lovely, a dream, it's look like Anne of the green gables village. You can move around from an attraction to another by walking on a wooden path with deer on sight. The local community is really active and always ready to organize special activities and services for tourists too. The walled garden restaurant is unique and full of surprises.

For the not experienced driver it might be a bit scary to arrive at this lovely village with their beautiful beach and views over the hills. The Applecross Inn is a legend; mind you closed on the Tuesdays. If you’re there and you have to cooke for yourself get enough shopping in as there’s only one tiny shop what does only have the necessary goods. There’s an estate with the famous Scottish Highland Coos grazing. Do not forget the photograph gallery, a small cottage a wee bit outside town, worthwhile a visit. Coffee is for free but you might loose a bit of money as the photos shown are all for sale and definitely worthwhile.

Beautiful area & setting.
Beautiful area & setting. Great facilities for a hostel, especially kitchen. Bit of a long trek to village by foot, but ok if good weather.
We stayed in room 10, this is ok for a one night stay, but if it is a longer trip then make sure you are not in any of these rooms if you want sleep. Right next to toilets & people are in & out all night. Also above kitchen & you can hear every word & noise, people in here very early & until late at night. No notice taken of times to be quiet & no one on site to enforce this after 21.00.
