Amazing property, enclosed outdoor area meant the dog could roam around without being on the lead which put us at ease. The hut was well equipped, we slept amazingly, it was peaceful, made breakfast and the host even left some little bits like colouring & treats that were such a lovely touch. We were gutted the weather was so poor so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor fire & toast marshmallows which were provided too! We also walked our dog to the local pub about 15 mins walk away - food was great.

The Plough far exceeded our expectations. We were expecting a country pub and got a modern well run pub/restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff, extremely good, tasty food and a well furnished modern residential block housing the rooms which were spacious and had a lovely big bed. The food is freshly cooked, including the breakfast, and you can tell it is. We will definitely be coming back and adjusting our travel arrangements to stay a few more nights.
