Lovely, inviting public house in Ribchester by the side of the river - great location for my trip to Blackburn with work. ( 20 minute drive away ) When I arrived I received a very warm welcome. On being shown to my room I was struck immediately by how plush the furnishings were. The bathroom was stylish and modern with ample towels and toiletries ( the overhead shower was divine )
The comforts provided were second to none … great selection of quality teas, coffee and hot chocolate. A teapot was also provided and a large bottle of water. The fridge in the room contained orange juice , small bottles of water and a small bottle of milk.
I unpacked and headed downstairs to order food. Great pub , very friendly and accommodating staff and the food was superb
