Has all the amenities you'd need to feel at home. The living room (and bedrooms) are extremely comfortable, the TV has a firebox so you've got all you could need. Very close to Bexhill town and Collington train station and seafront. A Tesco express just a 2 minute walk away. Lovely kitchen. Very helpful and kind owner with absolutely no confusion about how to get in using the keybox, or trying to find location, all information given to you very clearly.

Everything!
Communication and friendliness of the host was absolutely fantastic. Have already booked a return stay!
House was spotlessly clean; everything you needed and beds were comfy! Plenty big enough for a small group and enough parking for a couple of cars which is always helpful when travelling as a group! Sadly a couple of people we were going with could no longer make it but was plenty of room for them too!
Great location - shop and take aways etc nearby.
Beach about a 25 min walk which could be a little long depending on who you are with but was a perfect 5 min drive! Spend the afternoon at bexhill beach and then the next day a short drive into Hastings.
Comprising a garden and a tennis court, Bexhill Old Town Retreat is a recently renovated accommodation in Bexhill situated close to Bexhill Beach.

We used to live in Bexhill but wanted a little break as we were having our bathroom refitted. Also it’s my husband’s special birthday year and our 35th anniversary this year.
We thought the Hotel break would be a nice treat. Bexhill is flat and easy walking but pay to park in Central & surrounding areas.

Bexhill is our happy place.
Bexhill is our happy place. We go to Bexhill whenever we can. It is clean, quiet and the people are very friendly, we absolutely love Bexhill. Lots of great places to eat. A great base for trips out to lots of places, historical eg Pevensey Castle, Battle Abbey Rye etc; other seaside destinations eg Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton. Theatres in Eastbourne and Bexhill’s own De La Warr centre.

We were there to visit family, and this was not our first visit to Bexhill, however, there are lots of neat places to visit, a good variety of restaurants and cafes, shopping and easy accessibility either by walking or public transport. Great little town and well worth a visit.

Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom.
Bexhill is a lovely quiet town with a fabulous prom. The stone beach is fabulous and great for walking along.. The town has many cafes, restaurants and good pubs along with nice shops and charity shops to mooch around. There is also a large out of town Marks and Spencer a couple of miles away. The train station is central and there is a good service to Hastings and Eastbourne as well as London.

Bexhill has some really interesting independent stores including an excellent material and haberdashery shop. The Pavillipn is well worth a visit and has some great displays and a good restaurant. The really lovely place to eat is the Trattoria along the sea front with such lovely staff. A lovely beach that exposes sand when the sea is out.

We were there for a family meeting so didn't see a lot, but we did go into the town for food and can highly recommend Bentley's as food and service were excellent and fairly priced.
Currently a lot of road works going on which can cause hold ups but we did use two taxi services 247 cars and Town cars and both were punctual and reasonably priced for the length of journey and both with friendly polite drivers.
We also visited the Relais Cooden Beach Hotel and that was very nice.
The location is 2 minutes from De la Warr Pavilion and beach in Bexhill. Ideal if you are going to an event, or just want a relaxing seaside break.
My room was very nicely furnished at the top of the house, large en suite bathroom.
Breakfast - excellent menu. I asked for just a continental breakfast and was delighted to have fresh fruit salad, super croissants with cheese, yogurt, and excellent pot of tea.
I found the location was ideal, and the guest house very friendly and welcoming.I will definitely stay again when next in Bexhill.
Great location, very quiet and the long promenade just across the street. Inside, the apartment was very comfortable and had most of what is needed for self catering except for two things that we couldn’t find : a bread knife, and a sieve/colander, essential for anyone surely!
Large sofas for lounging and relaxing, after a ten minute walk back from any of the several great places to eat in Bexhill. We also found safe roadside parking about ten minutes away on foot, heading towards Cooden.
This was our first week away in a long time and our first with our nervous rescue dog Loki, and it was perfect. The cottage was cosy, clean and well located.
Situated in a quiet area the cottage is near pubs, restaurants and the train station so you're never far from your next adventure.
It was the perfect base for our adventures and Loki loved it as well.
There was a welcome basket for us and the dog which really was the perfect start.
Couldn't recommend enough.
Central location, peaceful, nice big clean room, comfy bed, warm radiators, big bathroom, tub chairs to relax in with our complimentary refreshments, could come and go as we wished, no stringent rules & regs, very relaxing atmosphere, very convenient position in Bexhill, literally a stones throw from the beautiful seafront and De La Warr Pavilion, lots of independent, interesting small shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
Very comfortable, well appointed room with everything you could need. The whole hotel is beautifully decorated and absolutely immaculate. I especially appreciated the lovely spotless bathroom with whirlpool bath and shower. The owner Lucia is very helpful and makes you feel welcome with a nice personal, caring approach. Highly recommended Coast if staying in Bexhill. Also as a solo female guest I felt very safe. Great!
You have the most amazing view of the sea from the dining table and the terrace. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you need to make your stay perfect. The beds were really comfy, and the bathroom had an amazing shower.
Just opposite the De La Ware Pavilion, the apartment is perfectly situated to make the most of Bexhill-on-Sea.
Highly recommended.
Location is 2 mins from the beach. Well equipped for a short stay, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle. Thanks for the teabags! Right next to a corner shop but cross over the road and you're at the De La Warr and seafront. Very clean. I was in the downstairs studio. And a much needed fan!! Would definitely stay again, great communication from the host.
First and foremost, the staff. So pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect! So comfortable. The entire premises was clean and well appointed. The food at Rock Salt on Sea was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The location was wonderful -- so close to the seaside. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was a shame it was just for one night.
The location to the town was a 5min drive away. The Little Garth is located in a quiet residential area with plenty of street parking. We wouldn't hesitate but to recommend this place. The couple who run this place are very accommodating. The breakfast was a delight. We will definitely be returning in the future.
We didn't really know what to expect as we had never visited Bexhill on Sea before. We needn't have worried as we received a warm welcome from the host.
The rooms were beautiful. Attention to detail was exceptional.
The breakfast menu was varied and very tasty.
The overall experience was positive.
Probably one of the least expensive hotels in Bexhill but the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful when I requested a change of room to a lower floor as my wife has difficulty in walking. The room was excellent both very comfortable and clean.
The place is a good location, right on the seafront. It was very clean and the enclosed outdoor area at the back was nice.
Milk and biscuits were very welcome after a long journey as were the coffee machine pods.
Sam was helpful and responsive.
The hospitality of the owner was amazing and the location was the best! Staying in bexhill doesn't get much better than this place! Great food options near by and easy access to the beach.
Well appointed and equipped and very comfortable place for us all, complete with chair lift for those less mobile, Cooden Cottage is a great base for staying in the Bexhill area.
Room was lovely but walking outside through the car park was a shame as outside is quite run down . Didn’t have that lovely hotel feel that the main hotel had.
