Received us with a smile on our arrival, the delightful hostess made an extra effort to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The accommodation set in the beautiful rural area of Bidford is superb and the room well equipped. We wish we could have stayed at Brookleys more than just one night.

Great room. Spacious, clean and comfortable beds.Staff friendly. Had dinner in the restaurant in the evening, and it was a good menu and good food. Would stay again. Good location outside Stratford on Avon.

Excellent location, as Evesham is a nice town with lovely countryside and the river nearby. There are several options for food from takeaways, basic cafes and restaurants and coffee shops. It is also a good location for travelling to other towns and National Trust properties. Room 2 had apparently been recently refurbished to a high standard with a clean, comfortable bed etc., and a beautiful bathroom en-suite, with toiletries and a shower and roll-top bath. The staff member who booked us in appeared helpful and willing but was not able to act independently without reference to management. The town had a history dating back centuries and the pub was very old, though no mention of this or it’s history was given. Waitrose nearby.

We were only there one night but on checkin we were upgraded as our height would have meant the original booked room would not have been very comfortable . The radiator/ towel rail in the bathroom did not work but reception was glad to have that flagged up
