You mean everything I assume? I cannot knock the accommodation and meal arrangments or some of the staff. However, my disappointment started with the confusion with booking arrangments and a room we didn't want, still being disputed by Booking.com. It started with your female reception staff and nagging me to make a further booking for our adult son. It was made clear at the outset that we only wanted two rooms. They kept sending useless emails when a phone call would have made the booking so much easier. This annoyance resulted in booking a separate room for our son by accident with Booking.com. Both Best Western and Booking.com should have got together and seen we were a family of three and only wanted two seperate rooms.

The size of the room, cleanliness and the staff. Central for Bridgend, l was there for a hen do and it was in a perfect location. The carpark that they use is cheap and the car was fine even though it was in the open and not manned 24/7.
This charming Grade II Listed building is situated 5 minutes from the M4. It is thought to have been a gift from Queen Elizabeth I to the Earl of Leicester.

Got back late in the evening after a wedding and the porter was happy to service us (Brian), he was friendly, chatty and accommodating.
Had an al a carte breakfast for £10 which even included in Eggs Royale which is my favourite. All round couldn't fault this hotel and we would defo staying again if in the area.

Places around Bridgend are stunning: Ogmore, Southerndown and Porthcawl to name but a few. Shopping at Sarn is excellent. Bridgend Town sadly lacks funding but it’s still an ok town for essentials.
Newbridge fields are beautiful - lots of sports are played there at weekends too.
Not far from Neath falls, there Big Pit, The Mumbles - all worth while places!

Ewenny guest house is not in the town of Bridgend but in...
Ewenny guest house is not in the town of Bridgend but in Ewenny, surrounded by countryside and woods, on the road to the coast. There are a couple of pubs about 5 minutes drive away for evening meals. It is a five minute drive to Ogmore , which is on the sea and the coastline there is a heritage coastline, with beautiful walks and cliffs and woods.
Bridgend is a small town, it has supermarkets, shops and restaurants, but we did not spend time in the town, only in the countryside around.

I only use Bridgend as a stopover as I could not find reasonably priced room in Cardiff that was in a safe area for a woman travelling alone. There was a big football match and concert on in Cardiff that Tuesday night and that is why I booked further afield as there was very little choice in my price range available.

Old Manor House with an old-fashioned touch, a bit out of times but comfortable, clean and with refurbished bath rooms.
We we arrived there was a school graduation party we had not been made aware of. Fortunately it finished at 10 pm, so did not bother us in the end.
Very good Indian restaurant. Very good breakfast.
The staff honestly need awards for the nicest people in hospitality, they couldn't do enough from entry to exit they were super polite, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and super clean In fact the whole hotel was, It was so nice to have the saunas and pool as well so a big bonus, the beds were comfy and the room was nicely heated, the shower was awesome. Honestly I would recommend a stay here.
Easy parking and quiet location.
Evening meal - the food was absolutely stunning, one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Talented chef / kitchen staff for sure. Such a refreshing change to my weekly hotel stays.
Nice restaurant area and cosy little pub part too
Staff nice, young man in the afternoon was particularly professional and friendly.
pillows and mattress comfortable
Lovely little cottage near Bridgend. The property is wonderfully finished to a really good specification. Had a warm, cosy feel about the property with internal stonework, log fire and ceiling beams. We booked for Easter weekend and arrived to Easter cakes which was a nice touch by the host. We would 100% recommend the property, and will certainly be returning in the future.
It didn’t feel like some hotel room, it’s a proper little apartment with cupboards full of dishes and glasses, not to mention condiments and tea Ect. The place has good Wi-Fi with a sky box and good hot shower and a comfy bed with plenty of extra sheets and pillows. But the best part is that town is a maybe 50 meter walk away with all Bridgend can offer in walking distance.
The hotel is very welcoming and has a lovely outdoor area. It is a beautiful character building and very comfortable. During our stay the staff were so friendly and super helpful. The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We would definitely return if we needed to stay in the area again.
Really enjoyed my stay at the cottage. Would be ideal for a family stay. St Brides is a lovely village with easy access to the stunning local coast line and the larger local town (Bridgend). The cottage has been tastefully refurbished, has a great bean-to-cup coffee machine and a well equipped kitchen. Highly-recommended.
In the area for work, this was ideal for me. The room was spotless, as is the rest of the hotel. The owner is lovely, very welcoming, and made me a fantastic breakfast the next morning which I enjoyed whilst chatting to him about anything and everything.
The property is an old stone terraced cottage but has been sympathetically extended with a high standard of fittings and decor, the location was very close to the town centre but in a quiet street. Excellent breakfast cooked to order by the host!
Great place to stay very clean and well decorated with attention to detail, kitchen was well equipped with a lovely welcome hamper, great location train station and super market and town center close by.good to see a variety of games to play.
Was like home from home very friendly staff being a business traveller was nice to have that. Only found this place due to hotel over booking typical for corporate business. This will be my go to for this location.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
The cottage is in a good location for exploring the south Wales coast and is well equipped.
The outdoor seating area and garden were a bonus.
Wonderful B&B with the most friendliest of staff. Always stay at this location in Bridgend when working in Wales. Excellent room facilities and breakfast. Highly recommended.
