Loved the fact that it was built in the 1800 a old building that is kept beautiful all these years. And the meals are really nice complements to the chef. Very happy 😁

The Vine Hotel, Skegness, hotel in Burgh le Marsh

Set in an 18th-century building, the The Vine Hotel, Skegness is 15 minutes’ walk from Skegness Beach.

The staff were really welcoming and it was such a lovely setting. It was nice to relax after a busy day at the pleasure beach with the kids. We especially loved the outdoor pods which we were able to use at night. Although it was raining the pods were under cover and had heating and lights so we wasn't cold. We also made use of the Bluetooth speaker we could get from reception and had a lovely time singing

Lovely caravan and site, peaceful location, only ten minutes from Skegness. Caters for fishermen. Not many amenities on site, no restaurant or cafe, only very small shop selling essentials. The village of Burgh le Marsh is a car ride away, about five minutes, there is a Co-op and Spar, and a couple of pubs selling food. There is virtually no wifi, which was OK for my husband and myself, but was a major catastrophe for our son, who wanted to watch netflix on an evening on his phone. Sometimes he could not even get a phone signal, so not recommended for teenagers.

I was charged for breakfast but did not get any due to it not been ready at the agreed time and the postage stamp sized TV was a joke. I had to nap in my car due to the unbearable loud music. This whole experience was a joke £60 I wouldn't stay there again for free.

The site was lovely and quiet.

The site was lovely and quiet. But you really need to check what you are booking. I queried why we had a caravan when I had the paperwork which clearly states we had booked a villa. The host said it was booking.coms fault.
