Abbey was helpful and communicated check in and check out well. She booked us a meal at the local pub in time for our arrival and gave a list of places to eat locally. The room was beautifully furnished and presented and had everything we could have wanted including access to our TV subscriptions and air con unit. Also very happy that the teabags were Yorkshire.

Excellent selection for breakfast. Full English plus a variety of pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc. really good, although they could have added a few more beans to the full English (literally a couple of teaspoons of beans. Other than that, fab!
Great location for Alton towers. Aldi, Tesco and McDonald’s next door. Food menu was lovely on the evening. Friendly staff.

Close to Alton towers. Clean, large room. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast
A small, yet quite lovely little place. The thing that makes it is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, a great place!
There isn’t an abundance of shops and if you want a quick and cheap bite to eat there are a few weatherspoon/hungry horse type of places around.

A cute village feel with some lovely history and quite a few cute shops. Plenty of choices for take away food locally and our host had thoughtfully left these with our personal welcome note, which was a lovely touch.

We stayed near to Alton Towers, and it was a short drive to the resort. Alton Towers is in the middle of nowhere, and signage sometimes led us part way, and then just stopped. The SatNav lost signal, and Google Maps saved the day. We had a fantastic day - it was our granddaughter's 4th birthday, and her first trip to a theme part. We were lucky with the weather, so couldn't fault anything. The queues for the rides weren't too bad, and as we brought picnics, we didn't need to wait for refreshment.

Booked a hotel in Cheadle as it was close to Alton Castle where we were visiting. Had a meal in the High Street which was fine but not really too much else to do in the area although there is much beautiful countryside if you are a rambler/walker!

Only stayed here overnight enroute to Alton Towers.
Only stayed here overnight enroute to Alton Towers.
We weren't impressed with the restaurants there, The Wheatsheaf closed the kitchen early as they ran out of food! By the time we walked to the Hungry Horse they'd also stopped serving food so the only alternatives were takeaways but we had no cutlery to eat it at our guest house - not ideal when you have a tired 5 year old with you.
Other than that fine.
Clean room, warm Stokie welcome, very comfortable bed, excellent location. Set on the edge of town, modern room that's great value. The bed is large and comfortable, bathroom facilities clean and modern. The whole room is a lot nicer than some four star plus boutique hotels we've stayed in ! Well done Abbey.
Easy to park.
Accessible to visit family and close to Towers.
stylish decor , clean , facilities were second to none. instructions were at hand if needed. The extras very very thoughtful and made it so homely I came accross this when looking for a hotel. This will now be a preferred choice .
The staff and other customers were warm and welcoming.
The staff were accommodating, helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
The location was perfect for Alton Towers and for our
onward journey to North Wales.
Cheadle is a pretty country town with lots to offer.
Very pleasant stay with Abbey at Cheadle. Comfortable well priced accomodation close to everything we planned to do. Great recommendations for places to eat.
Would definitely return if in area again
There are not many hotels that include breakfast in this area, and this hotel does include breakfast. It was a surprise that the breakfast was cooked by the owner , it was really delicious!
Stayed here for two nights while visiting family. The room was great and the grounds of the hotel were lovely. The owners were very friendly. The breakfast was also very nice.
This is the second time we have stayed here. Lovely cottage, short drive to Alton Towers, short walk to Cheadle for dinner and supermarkets. We will be back again next year.
