Restaurant in lovely position. Would prefer freshly cooked (al-a-cart) breakfast as the scrambled egg had a skin on it as it had been there so long and other items were only slightly warm. Cups could be a bit bigger or have pots you can have for tea/coffee on your table

The location was absolutely fantastic. Because breakfast was not included we nipped across the road to the most incredible place for a croissant and a coffee - The Apple Orchard. We sat out in a beautiful cottage garden in the sun and then on the way out popped into the shop which sold gifts, cards, handbags, stunning furniture and even Hypnos beds! There was also a lot to do from the doorstep: the Hell-Fire Caves, Dashwood House, lovely walks, and in the evening The George and Dragon was the perfect village pub location to unwind before bed. The pub garden was also stunning. Big car park.

Brilliant location, Andy was super helpful and the tents were awesome. Overall a really great experience.
It was very peaceful if you need that get away feel .
It was very peaceful if you need that get away feel . Excellent continental breakfast and the eggs were fresh from the owners chickens . Nice view into country side . Host Kim and Gary were very friendly and helpful . The only thing I would say is if you are tall be careful with your head on the side of the room as the walls slant up to the ceiling as it is a barn conversion . Just remember to duck your head 😊

Beautiful countryside, lots of interesting places to visit.Thames, and Henley are lovely towns all with great shops and restaurants. We travelled to The Frog at Skirmett for Sunday lunch ,it was superb !! Fantastic food .The reason for our trip to this area was a visit to Chiltern Valley Winery for a wine tasting experience ,this I can highly recommend ! Very informative ,lovely to see the vineyard ,and how the final product tastes! They also have a micro brewery and do the most incredible liquors . Well worth a visit .

Restaurant food really really tasty and served piping hot and in good time.
Man at reception/bar so so rude, no smiles no warmth and the way he spoke to us was like we were an inconvenience. After having to be served by him twice my partner actually asked him is everything ok and is there a reason that you are speaking to us like that.
Lovely room, quite old fashioned but it didnt matter as it was Immaculate.

The location is lovely if you're looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to stay. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, We had a nicely cooked evening meal with a good choice of menu. The breakfast was superb.
Despite booking three weeks ahead and having a printed confirmation of the date of stay the man on reception tried to tell us we had no room for that night as we had booked for a week hence. He tried to put the blame on us despite the fact the HOTEL had CANCELLED our booking (bumped off for a more lucrative client???) We stood our ground and a room was eventually found. The complimentary breakfast was OK.
An excellent room with a large en suite bathroom. All well furnished with a fairly large TV screen too. It was a buffet breakfast with a wide choice of food. I also had an evening meal at the hotel, which was good value.
The hotel is a cleverly re-engineered country inn. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the whole package is well thought out. The hotel is wrapped around a large courtyard which gives a generous feeling of space.
The hotel is simple and clean. The room was freshly prepared for our (early) arrival and the staff were so accommodating. The breakfast was delicious as well. Would recommend
Checkin, Room, 1st breakfast OK. Good Lisbon close to Henly, Oxford and lovely pubs in countryside. Hotel good bar and monitored parking, plenty of it too. Staff polite.
