Great for location for getting food and chilling in the room.
Quiet at night.
Slept very well, comfy bed.
Staff were lovely when I checked in and made me feel safe as a solo female.
One of the only place I’ve checked in where it’s not been said out loud that the room is for one and the room number being spoken out loud for others to hear. It happens all the time BUT did not happen here and put me at such ease.

Lovely and clean room and beds were very comfortable. The location is great, close to the beach and the town centre. There are few parking spots outside the house which was very helpful.

although I was only there for a short time I enjoyed my stay. the town was close to my hotel and it was clean and tidy. there is plenty to do if you have children. I had a meal at the local chip shop which I believe was called geo on the main high ST. very good food and service. I visited some shops and the staff in the shops where in good spirits and helped the customers.

We just wanted a couple of quiet nights away,
For a family with young children who are on a budget it’s a good way to get away for a few days. Weather plays a big part but the beach isn’t bad, the pier and amusements can easily kill a rainy afternoon plenty of places to eat and drink Fairly cheap and basic seaside town but it’ll keep the kids happy

I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town.
I think Clacton-on-Sea is a lovely town. The garden walk at the seafront is beautiful any time of the year; there are plenty of seats. There are loads of reasonable restaurants in Clacton and lots of activities for children. There is a very good Wetherspoon pub near the seafront. A good range of shops.

Clacton not too bad.
Clacton not too bad. But Jaywick where the caravan was is terrible, down and out people everywhere and run down properties. Fly tipping on the road to site.
We had two nights but only stayed one night as couldn’t wait to get home
Charming little guest house, run by a lovely couple, who really look after their guests. Super clean and comfy room, with everything we needed including bottles of water, biscuits and even chocolate. The towels in the bathroom were possibly the most luxurious towels we have ever had in a hotel, and we travel a lot and have stayed in some great hotels. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Located within easy walking distance to the sea front and Clacton Pier. Perfect for a weekend get-away.
This guest house was amazing! The hosts made me feel very welcome and catered to all my needs without asking. The room was very clean and modern. There were complimentary snacks and drinks in the room. The breakfast was exceptional and was made at the time you requested it.
I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Clacton on sea and the surrounding area.
Amanda was absolutely lovely on arrival made us feel really welcome.... was a great start to our stay. The location is brilliant... its opposite a shopping center so you literally have everything you need and about a 7 min drive to Clacton beach. Was super quiet at night and peaceful. Good shower clean bathroom. Was my sons 1st time staying in a hotel and he loved it.
The Greek restaurant at this hotel is excellent and was the only reason we booked to stay in Clacton on our way back home from a holiday in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk. Again, the food did not disappoint, it was beautifully cooked and served by friendly staff.
The hotel was run by a lovely very friendly and welcoming couple. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Couldn’t fault it at all, I will be back next time I’m in Clacton. The location was also perfect for my requirements.
Family trip for my son's wedding. Accommodation suited us as we had small children. It was clean, comfy and there were games which the kids enjoyed. Very relaxing and much better that booking two hotel rooms which would have cost twice as much!
I like the location, the staff were very kind and helpful. The facilities were spotless. Felt more like a hotel than a guest house a lot of care and attention goes into the running of this establishment. Really first class experience.
Location was just off the Clacton seafront, so walking out for dinner and to the beack, amusements etc was ideal. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good. Room very clean and in excellent order.
Jack the manager was very professional and friendly. He helped not only us but lots of people at the hotel. Also I would like to mention Bailey the bartender who was awesome. See you in October.
I actually liked the rustic feel of the hotel, but I can see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. It was incredibly close to pubs, the beach, restaurants, I loved that. The staff were friendly too.
Better contact the hotel directly. I paid 157 Pound for one night, the worker said the booking is inflating the prices, if you book directly with hotel it is much cheaper and you get breakfast.
Nothing to do with the rental accommodation
Liked being in Clacton on sea, as it’s a favourite of the whole family, as we visit several times a year as it has special memories for us
