The location was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the amenities like the tea and biscuits were enjoyed. After hiking all day, I was tired when I checked in and just wanted to cocoon in my room. It was the perfect place to relax.

The dinners at The New Inn were very good indeed. There was a large and varied choice on the menu as well as a couple of excellent specials. Portions were large and the quality of the fare was super. Additionally the prices were very reasonable. We stayed there three nights and ate in the hotel each night. Usually we eat out at other venues whilst on a break, but because the food was so good and there was plenty of choice we decided to dine at The New Inn each evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Location was amazing - we had been to Cotswold Wildlife Park and the hotel was only 6 mins away!
We checked in and the team were amazing, friendly and informative.
We had the doggies with us and we were allocated one of the courtyard rooms which was perfect and we had a 'Happy Dog Hamper' ready and waiting which the pups loved!
There are lots of lovely places to sit and enjoy a drink - you can sit outside if you are blessed with sunshine, the bar or the lounge which was stunning and cosy in the evening listening to live music, fire on and aperol in hand!
Food was devine for dinner and breakfast - lack of croissant choice in the morning is my only negative but it stopped me overeating, so really its probably a positive.
Overall, it was the perfect stay and we will be rushing back!

Staff were amazing, great welcome, really looked after us on arrival and during our meal and drinks in the evening. The Inn itself is quirky and we love the history of the building.

Pretty much everything was perfect, the staff were brilliant, we had several meals at the pub which were amazing and so relaxing (even with our 4yo), the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel/B&B. Our room was an OK size if it was just two of us, and although definitely not a suite (more on that below) it had a beautiful bathroom and garden area and we could park right next to our entrance.
A very friendly hotel. The staff were excellent. Our room and the hotel were clean and presented to a very high standard. All the COVID measures were in place and strictly observed which gave us complete confidence. The food was great but limited menu. We look forward to a return visit and we would highly recommend this hotel.
Everything was perfect! The room was beautiful and big, very comfortable bed. Generally hotel is lovely and charming. Breakfast was very tasty. And the village is amazing - charming and quiet, we were very close to nature. I loved it so much! :)
Lovely staff and very charming property. It is remote but perfect for a quiet
Weekend away. The surrounding area is very beautiful, and the hotel itself was nicely renovated.
As a foreign traveller to the UK, the hotel was picturesque and what I imagined the UK to offer. Staff were excellent, rooms are beautiful and the food is exceptional.
