The location and character of the hotel. The staff were very friendly but needed some training in various areas of hospitality. It's my first experience of having to clear a table before i could eat breakfast.

Blinkbonnie Guest House, hotel in Drummore

Set in the picturesque village of Portpatrick within its own landscaped garden, Blinkbonnie Guest House is a 5-minute walk from the seafront and offers a sun terrace and free Wi-Fi.

Lesley and Robert are very welcoming and friendly hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at their spotlessly clean and very comfortable B&B, which has wonderful views out to the Irish sea. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the room and supplies replenished daily, if required. Free parking is right outside the house and the harbour/seafront/village is a 5 minute walk down the hill. We enjoyed a delicious, hearty freshly cooked breakfast every morning. If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Blinkbonnie again - it's an excellent place to stay in a lovely location and Lesley and Robert are great hosts.

I would prefer caravan in a more elevated position ie 3rd row. Should be allowed entry sooner during winter hours for example before dark! Relocate campsite sign to avoid guests driving up the dirt track road ! "Like me" Constructive criticism aside it was one of my best hogmanays ever #SilentPiper
