An amazing dog friendly hotel. First time I had taken my little dog to a hotel and was pleasantly surprised at the way it all went. You can even bring them to breakfast in the conservatory where he was well behaved. Booked the executive room which was lovely spacious with a huge bathroom with bath and shower . Amazing views of Eastbourne and the pier. One small issue with a window that didn’t open fully and furniture looking a little tired but that is just me obsessed with 5 star rooms being spot on. Overall the staff were really lovely went above and beyond to make you comfortable even the lovely cleaning lady who worked really hard. A wonderful weekend spent with my mum and a bonus in that I could take my little man Zeus with me will definitely be returning.

Nice shopping centre, with some great shops eating places, shop staff were very cheerful and friendly ,great restaurants, bars ,coffee shops, good transport, good taxi service, but not to impress with the pier, but that my opinion, some nice stalls along the sea front, selling bits and pieces, street food, worth a walk along, the Windsor Tavern is a great little bar with a great atmosphere, very reasonable price beers and shorts, well worth a visit if in the area, there is and great Indian restaurant 2 to 3 minutes walk from the bar, there is also a nice Thai restaurant near the restaurant, which I would highly recommend, good food great service and reasonable price,

I love Eastbourne. The big long beach that you can walk all the way. Love sovereign Harbour, both have great resturants. Good shopping in Eastbourne town. We had a lovely curry near old town and great food in the crown and Anchor. Not forgeting the Bandstand where we saw a fantastic Motown band. Always good acts on there and two bars.!. Everything! The location was brilliant. Stones throw from the beach (lifeguard area too) was a pleasant surprise. My from was spotless. Lovely bath and the beds were soooooo comfortable. One of the best nights sleep in a hotel in ages ! Perfect stock of tea and biscuits:) and was happy to see a lift !great value and staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Deep in particular was absolutely brilliant . Restaurants and a shop on next street. And a 5 min walk into the centre. Will definitely return when in eastbourne again. Thank you :)
Lovely feel to hotel, everyone so friendly from reception, catering staff & housekeeping. Lovely location for seafront. Fantastic breakfast & also a good tea tray in room which included biscuits & hot chocolate.
Beds very comfortable.
As we come from Eastbourne & was visiting friends, we know that it is a little way from restaurants / places to eat if dont want to eat at hotel. The Pilot pub in Meads is fab & only 2 mins in car or a 15 min walk.
Given the price I paid, I was not expecting too much from the hotel but was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although a little dated in decor, it was clean and well maintained and all the staff were pleasant and attentive. Room was a single but quite spacious and had everything needed for a decent nights sleep and a nice desk area for work.
Food was very good both evening meal and breakfast.
The location was perfect, close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Apartment was large and decorated beautifully! Good value considering a hotel room in some run down hotels on the seafront are around that price to! Had everything we needed in the apartment. Check in and out was smooth and host, Richard was lovely. Was very clean to. We will definitely be returning soon! Lovely place!
The Alexandra Hotel is well located, an easy 15mins walk from the train station in Eastbourne. Lovely hotel, friendly staff very helpful, breakfast buffet had loads of choice and kept hot +good selection of teas and coffee was good.room was spacious with all the amenities you need.i would definitely stay at the shore view when next in Eastbourne+ it is a short walk from the station through the town center. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a lovely stay.
Having the space of an apartment is much nicer than just a standard hotel room, a nice kitchenette plus washing machine should any need it. Really lovely spacious and great temperature shower. Option for a late check out is good. Great location for Eastbourne seafront and town shops/restaurants/entertainment. All within a 2mins -10mins walk.
The hotel is well positioned for the seafront, and a reasonable walk to the town centre. The staff seemed helpful when we saw them, which was not that often as they were always busy. We got a big, light and airy room with windows on two sides overlooking the theatre.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice and quality food, staff throughout the hotel really friendly, comfy bed, bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated, great location for town centre and seafront. Entertainment in the evenings good. Parking convenient
The room was lovely and clean, the only problem was the water supply to the shower and hand basin was very poor. The Hotel is located close to the Seafront and was very convenient for our Day at Devonshire Park LTA Tennis Tournament in Eastbourne. Thank you
The hotel is located on the seafront of Eastbourne with easy access to pubs/entertainment. We stayed there for Beachy Head Ultra, where the start line was within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel also has a breakfast buffet.
