Location was good for the purpose of our stay.
Safe parking.
It is a lovely building and bar stays open for an after dinner drink.
Clean rooms. I have to highlight the very clean carpets as well. Usually in these old buildings carpets have a funny smell, but not here. Very pleased with that.
The Waterfront Apartments are a budget accommodation in Greenock with security entrance, it was previously student accommodation around 9 years ago.

Location was great!! We had a sea view and it was absolutely gorgeous - Greenock is a lovely wee town and it was quite quiet where we stayed. The staff were lovely - only saw John but he was great and said he was always on hand if we needed anything! Also AMAZING value for money!!

Good location, next to train station. Had a shop across the road and a cash point. Property was very spacious, decoration was lovely. Has a smart tv which is great if you have Netflix, YouTube or Prime video.

Very friendly staff. an error had occurred somewhere between booking.com and the Hotel such that they had allocated a double room when a twin had been reserved. Staff member Danny re arranged their reservations to provide a family room at no extra charge. Restaurant staff were very good.
Great find along the bank of the River Clyde. Basic room but well equipped and very clean. Man who checked us in was very helpful and explained everything. Near to the historic centre and opposite Lidl supermarket.
Recommend eating at Spicycurry Nepalese restaurant behind the bus station.
The Waverley steamer also runs tours from just outside!

Enjoyed our trip on the paddle steamer Waverley. Found Greenock a friendly place to visit with a selection of shopping outlets mostly within a short walking distance.

The accommodation was spacious, well-equipped and very comfortable. We had travelled to Greenock for the funeral of a close relative and we found this to be a true haven where we could rest and enjoy a modicum of tranquility before travelling home again.

I work in Greenock but stayed at the Waterfron to attend an event at the Alabany due to the train strikes that week. My room was a student room next to other occupied student rooms so I could hear a lot of noise from the next room - radio, someone talking loudly on his phone. The worst part was the lack of hot water in the shower. I asked the manager about this and he said it was an issue with the water pressure. He said he would fix it but it still didn't work on the second morning of my stay.

The room had a musty, sewage smell when I entered, it was not clean, cups dirty, bits of noodles on floor. Only one sachet of coffee, cobwebs on roof round edges. Toilet small and smelly of something maybe sewage and damp. Never slept well, actually if had somewhere else to go I would have left at 2am in morning. Positives, view was amazing but that was it.

As I was born in Greenock. It is quite different now. Shopping area very small, some good stores but like many other town centres at the moment. Signs of a lack of financial imput, however still adequate to find what you may be looking for.
Lovely place to stay, your own entrance , a small breakfast area with fridge and microwave, some plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Beds were comfortable, rooms were quite big , lovely view to the garden, the area was quiet, about 10 min walk to Greenock West station, 5 min walk to a small supermarket, a bit of walk to the towncentre , hooray for taxis.
The host was absolutely fabulous, even gave us a lift to Greenock Ferry.
Thank you for a lovely stay at your house !
It was in a great area, close to train station, town and river. Huge rooms , tastefully decorated. lovely comfortable beds. Great kitchen with all the dishes and cooking utensils. It ended up 4 of us stayed there and we had ample room. We even had guests for dinner and the table extended with room for six. Also had a washer/dryer that we used several times . Overall it was wonderful.
Excellent Hotel & Staff. We informed the Hotel that I was Gluten Free and Lactose Intolerant as this can sometimes be a problem but the Hotel & staff were superb. We had an Evening Meal & Breakfast and my Dietary requirements were no problem and the food was fantastic.
Wonderful location and immaculately clean. If you ever need to visit Greenock make sure you stay at the Tontine.
A short walk from Greenock Central station. Remote host sent me code for mini-safe to access the keys for the accommodation block and the apartment. Well-furnished apartment, fully-equipped kitchen and rooms with bed linen and towels. Convenience of self-catering for breakfast, ate out for other meals.
Comfortable bed and sofa bed (slept on top of that)
Loved the location as it's so close to Greenock Central Station and town centre. This apartment block is clean and tidy and perfect sized rooms.
This was so handy for my theatre competition weekend visit to the beacon as it was only 2-3 mins walk away. I would recommend this apartment hotel for anyone wishing to stay in the local area and explore.
Beautiful hotel in a very good location within the city. We stayed in the Georgian section of this hotel, and the room was large, airy, clean, and tastefully decorated. Excellent bar with attentive staff, too. We had a very good view of the bowling green in the square across teh street, too.
The location is what made me pick this hotel. It was less than a 5 minute walk from Greenock Central which was perfect for me. Bed was nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely. They offer a little breakfast bag for you in the morning although I didn't take them up on this.
Clean, warm and comfortable hotel with an incredibly welcoming and helpful staff.
A tremendous breakfast. I am coeliac so this is not always the case but, in HIE Greenock, I had plenty of choices.
Lots of easy, safe parking.
Great value for money!
Location and facilities were great. Easy access to local amenities and within walking distance of most area such as restaurants, train station etc. My sister lives in Greenock and her apartment was a very short walk away which made it very handy.
Up to Glasgow for eye surgery ferry off so needed place to stay the guy was great explained where to eat and there was a kitchen to use brilliant much better than travel lodge and John was the icing on the cake
Great upper level flat right around the corner from the train station. It had most everything we needed for an exceptional 2 week stay. Would use this property again if we were staying in the area
