Everything!!!! It was lovely and clean, Sharon had made sure there were lots of blankets, hot water bottles and much more to make sure we would be warm during the night. The views were beautiful and so peaceful and calm. My favourite feature was the outside shower, looking out at the beautiful views on a cold October evening while in a nice hot shower was lovely. I will definitely be booking again.

Overall, hotel was more than expected. Very nice location, they had activities running due to the Bank Holiday. The room was a good size. The breakfast was great value, service was great, staff were very helpful. Evening meals and service great. Bar area and restaurant are nicely decorated.

Convenient location for what we were doing. It was nice to be able to get fresh milk for cups of tea in the room. The staff were pleasant, especially in the restaurant.

The hotel was in a good location easy to find and the car park was good. opposite the hotel is a large indoor shopping complex with a cinema.

The staff were so lovely and really accommodating - we were attending a wedding nearby so requested if it was possible to have an early check in, as we wouldn't be returning to the hotel till late at night. After speaking with the hotel the day before our booking, they were more than happy to allow us to have our keys before check-in, and actually made sure our room was ready early enough so that we could check in, which we were so grateful for.
The hotel is full of character and has a real oldy-worldy feel to it, which we loved. The room we stayed in was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our breakfast the following morning - it was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful, albeit short, stay. We would definitely like to return in the future.
