Really enjoyed our one night stay. Rooms were clean and big. Liked the idea of having water as this was much needed after the night out. Breakfast was spot on and reasonable price. Beer garden was lovely as we were lucky with the weather. Very good value for money

We stayed here a year and a half ago just as the new owners were taking over and the place has been transformed. Lovely clean room with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely extra. We had dinner and drinks in the restaurant which was very tasty and really good value for money and it had a lovely atmosphere with a cosy wood burning fire. We opted for a rate with breakfast which again was fantastic with great quality ingredients and my daughter loved the hot chocolate. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Have stayed at this site many times and have found egress from the site can be risky. We leave the site by turning left, do a U turn at next junction on right, then join traffic with good site in wing mirror.
We eat at several different outlets. Trelawney Garden Centre near Wadebridge recommended as is Trago Mills.

It is a central location which makes it a good base to explore from. We didn't actually visit the town but drove to the Eden Project, Tintagel, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, St Austell etc. The local roads are narrow and winding, it takes ages to get anywhere, and you have to reverse a lot back to passing places on single track roads! We are vegetarian and found it easy to find really good places to eat. I recommend visiting Olive and Co at Sibleyback lake.

The clothes drying outside was not the best as the sun wasn’t on the wash line much
However there was a washer dryer (which I don’t like) should you need to get something dry
We visited Newquay, Perranporth and Looe, the latter being our favourite as it was nearest and had crab fishing as well as the beach

The hotel is 5 miles from Liskeard, which we did not visit other than to drive through! There is at least one petrol station which we did use.
However there are plenty of places of interest within a short drive. We ate at Wheal Tor and several of the local inns.

The town itself is quite a depressed area and so not particularly touristy, but it is easy travelling distance from some amazing countryside and this makes a good stopover to/from places further west.
The location of the hotel is fab!
We had a wonderful stay and felt so relaxed and looked after that we didn't want to leave.
The room was beautiful and comfortable, and we were provided with a lovely selection of local refreshments.
Shower gel, soap and shampoo were presented on soft white towels, a lovely touch!
The owners and their team were friendly, professional and made us feel welcome.
The local ale went down far too well 😂 And the food was excellent, hats off to the chef!
Cottage was quaint, clean and had everything you required. Attention to detail by the hosts brilliant. Literally in the middle of no where - where you can truly relax and enjoy the countryside.
Games room available with pool table & table tennis great for entertainment in the evening - distracting the kids away from devices.
Loved the Forrest area to walk the dog and enjoy fire pit one evening.
Really friendly staff that made you feel welcome. They asked us in advance what we'd like for breakfast and it was actually nice (you can only have so much English breakfast, but we also got some yogurt, butter, toast etc.).
Room was clean and very nicely furnished, looks like it was recently (re)decorated.
Plenty of parking spaces in front and in the back of the hotel.
This was an excellent accommodation for us ( 2 families with 4 adults and 4 children in total). It was like a home away from home :) We used this as a base o explore different parts of Cornwall. Ashley, the host was very helpful with directions and other information about the house and local amenities. Overall, a great experience ! Thanks,
Breakfast was good. Individually cooked. I was well looked after
Pub dinner was delicious - I recommend the African style fish special. Different and delicious.
It is a family run hotel and the feeling of being cared for was great
The location was perfect just off the A38 and lovely views from the bedroom of unspoilt countryside
It was a lovely stay. A wonderful place and view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights with 3 children in a hotel room. Everything was OK. They have to do some improvements in the hotel, as they new owners, but the surrounding and staff made us feel perfect during our stay
The owners are very welcoming and polite. Room was outstandingly clean. Guest House is located in perfect location in the middle of Cornwall. We were able to drive everywhere within a hour. Breakfast was freshly made, tasty and on time. We would definitely recommend staying in Elnor Guest House.
Good place too get around Cornwall , bus and train station nearby if you don’t want to drive everywhere and find a parking space this is the place, great breakfast and nice couple running it, rooms are clean and comfortable 👍
excellent service and hosts were so lovely. the setting was on a beautiful farm for lovely walking and easy to access other parts of Cornwall. the rooms were very comfortable and we had a wonderful experience.
A beautifully presented and maintained property kept to a very high standard set in a peaceful rural location, yet very accessible to so many places in east Cornwall and west Devon.
The location was ideally placed to visit all Cornwall, the cart house has been beautifully converted with some amazing features and the host Matt has thought about eveything
Brilliant location for touring Cornwall. Very peaceful and picturesque setting. Perfect hosts - wonderful facilities with all the extra touches which made it feel homely.
The house really has everything you need for a holiday, it is warm and very clean, I can only recommend it.
Ideal location for exploring the east and north of Cornwall.
