Excellent location for shops and restaurants, and beautiful Abbey Gardens opposite. The service was outstanding, especially from the concierge, (Steve) who went above and beyond in helping us to settle in. All staff were polite and attentive, and the breakfast was really good.

This was our second stay here and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely venue and a very comfortable place to lay your head after a day shopping in Bury St Edmunds. Our booking warned of building work in progress but we heard nothing and wasn’t affected in any way by this. Excited by the new development and looking forward to staying in the new rooms sometime soon.

Very comfortable and very friendly. Staff are great. There was a very minor issue with the breakfast timings (not their fault), and they were on it immediately and with great humour. Very highly recommended.
