This place is just beautiful - set in the most gorgeous grounds, decorated and furnished beautifully, a great hot tub and outside space - it was perfect for a get-together with friends. The hosts were available as soon as we had an issue with the lights - got back to me within minutes of texting, and the problem was sorted quickly. Ideal location as I was doing the archeological dig nearby. The pub was next door so we ate in there at night. Beautiful area.
The pub was great with excellent meals. I expect that there are off-road countryside walking paths as it would be dangerous to walk through the village along the roads as they are narrow. Llanishen also has a garage with a small shop so it has some facilities but you really need a car.
