We enjoyed staying in a traditional home; that it was the childhood home of the person sharing it with us made it feel very special. The room was very comfortable, and though Ishbel apologized that it was the only room without an ocean view it was still lovely and she insisted on us having the best view at breakfast, which was delicious and beautifully presented.

1 Fulmar Road**Next to West Beach and Golf Course, hotel in Lossiemouth

1 Fulmar Road**Next to West Beach and Golf Course is situated in Lossiemouth, 1.7 km from Lossiemouth East Beach, 8.5 km from Elgin Cathedral, as well as 33 km from Brodie Castle.

The house was lovely, spotlessly clean and with everything you could want or need. The owner Tracy was very friendly with excellent communication. She even left a very much appreciated welcome pack. Dog friendly too with a nice secure garden. We have family close by the house who have been in the area for 9 years so I've lots of experience of the accommodation that Lossiemouth and Elgin have to offer. This house is probably one of the better ones. We'll worth the stay. Very comfy beds. There were even an assortment of dog beds, some dog bowls, treats and poo bags.

We are golfers and I would recommend Lossiemouth as a good base to explore all the courses along the Moray coast. There are plenty hidden gems of courses. Ensure to use the Moray Golf ticket and special offers to save some money on the courses. The local eateries especially the Firth Hotel provide good food at reasonable prices although busy at weekends so require to book.

Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

    Such a beautiful place.

Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.

We loved everything about our stay at Cliffside. The house is simply stunning, the furnishings are amazing and it’s fully equipped to a very high standard. Chloe was a perfect host and was on hand if you needed anything. We travelled as two couples going up to visit friends in Lossiemouth and all of us were blown away by our stay there. I loved being able to sit on the bench in the garden having a coffee in the morning watching the golfers and the sea, it’s located in a wonderful place.

Great location. Very clean and well equipped. Alina was a great host - excellent communications. Easy check-in and checkout process. Just steps away from the beach. Top tip - rather than wait in a queue at 8.30am each day to book the on-site swimming pool, head into Elgin which is only a few miles away and go to the Moray Leisure Centre. The pool there is excellent, with kids' and toddlers' areas, as well as the main pool, including a flume. Would definitely recommend this caravan.

The location could not have been better. We had a sea view with everything only a 2 minute walk. The hotel was very clean and the staff were fantastic. We also had dinner which was to a high standard and very tasty, first time I have ordered 3 courses and not faulted a single one. Was lovely and quiet considering it’s a small area. We didn’t have to pay for parking as well even though we were parked on the street which was great.

This was by far the best value for money accommodation we had throughout our travels of Scotland. The room had a wonderful ocean view, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was room only, more like a motel but that suited us, there was complimentary tea and coffee. The view of the beach and ocean was spectacular it was the perfect location. I would certainly recommend this property and would without a doubt return.
