Friendly staff and great location if you are walking the coast path. Easy walk to Lindisfarne Island causeway. Good pub food in the evening and good breakfast. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Adjacent to A1 but traffic noise wasn't a problem. Also adjacent to a convenience store and bus stop. Secure luggage and bike storage available.

I stayed in Lowick, a small village as I was joining a trip to Lyndisfarne which is only a few miles away. I liked the fact that the village is close to the A1 but far enough away to avoid the noise of this busy road.

A beautifil wee village with 2 very good pub / restaurarants at either end. A great spot to decamp and strike out to Bamburgh or some of the other glorious spots in this beautiful part of the country. It's one of those places you'd think too good too not keep secret! Brilliant. We will be back there soon.

Lowick is a great place to stay when travelling up to Scotland - we used our visit to break the journey. It is a beautiful little village, with two great pubs (we stayed in the White Swan and ate in the Black Bull).
Absolutely beautiful hotel absolutely spotless rooms were cosy and warm and done up to a high standard with tea and coffee making facilities and lovely treats too. Staff were absolutely fantastic Lorna was so sweet and nothing was too much trouble made our stay so lovely. Food both in the hotel and pub were out of this world the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous all the good freshly cooked to order and locally sourced which is lovely to see would definitely recommend the black bull and I'll definitely be staying again!!!! ❤️
The White Swan is situated in the centre of the village opposite the village store. Our room was very large and comfortable and being in the village was quiet. The walk in shower was excellent, however the shower tray was very slippery and needs a bath mat - we used a towel. Both our evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. The hotel staff were really good and extremely helpful. Excellent wifi connection. This hotel was very Corvid 19 compliant. I have no hesitation in recomending this hotel.
Cycled to the hotel, arrived early but were made very welcome by the chef who showed us to our rooms, large room with 2 beds and a settee, the bathroom was a quite large with a great shower, The meals ( breakfast and evening ) were excellent, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. we stayed for 2 nights as it is a great location for cycle to the Holy Isle, quiet location, Secure storage for our cycles in the owners garage
Lovely friendly helpful staff. Thank you Hazel! You were still smiling and calm even when you were the only person doing everything! Food at breakfast and dinner was outstanding, thank you chef! Bedroom was lovely; spacious, well appointed, large comfortable bed, great shower in a lovely spacious bathroom. Lowick is a great little village, only 20 min drive from Lindisfarne and 25 from Bamburgh. Perfect!
Good location for local trips. Lovely warm, clean bedroom and excellent shower. Great breakfast and good value evening meal. Plentiful and well-priced. The best feature of the hotel however is the lovely, friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome and gave lots of advice about local trips, excursions etc. Only negative about the property is the lack of hand-pumped beer!! We will return.
Warm welcome on arrival.
Fenton (Room #14) very nice - new build extension to Pub/ Hotel.
Room Actually Impeccable. Hazel the cleaner.
Only -ve is dull noise (vibration like) from someplace !!! But stops at 9pm so not an issue for sleeping.
Cosy little bar - very Village Pub'ish.
WiFi good.
Food good - varied Menu.
Definitely would stay again.
Excellent food for both dinner and breakfast.
Comfortable bed, tasteful furnishings and decor, and friendly helpful staff.
Free parking and wi-fi.

our first night of vacation after a long day of flights and delays to be welcomed by the friendliest staff and enjoy drinks and desserts in the restaurant was a perfect end! We would absolutely come back to Lowick and The White Swan ❤️
Absolutely everything. It was truly 100% perfect. Staff, bedroom excellent, evening meal was amazing, breakfast really very good and I would highly recommend staying here if anywhere near this area.
The location was ideal for visiting places of interest. The hotel, staff and facilities contributed to a great stay.
