The Bath Hotel offers a superb location, in the heart of the village and directly opposite Lynmouth Harbour and the Lyn River. An excellent breakfast is served every morning.

Quirky, friendly and professional hotel with all rooms differently decorated. Helpful, lovely staff. Delicious breakfast. Added benefits that my son and me got upgraded. Hotel booked a parking space without even have to prompt them.

Very quaint.
Very quaint. It is known as Little Switzerland and certainly lives up to that name. We ate at our hotel The Rock House and at The Village Inn. Also breakfast one morning at The Rising Sun (sister hotel of The Rock House.)Everything is within walking distance. All the shops are gift shops or food outlets. Nearest small supermarkets are up in Lynton, easily accessed by the Cliff Railway. There are no Banks, Post Office or ATMs in Lynmouth. Most pubs and hotels only accept card payments.

We first came here 46 years ago on honeymoon so it was great to come back again for our anniversary (we have visited several times over the years) and not much has changed. It is still beautiful, friendly, quiet and a place we will return to again.

First class place to have a short break.
First class place to have a short break. Lots of walking around the area, good selection of shops, although the majority were closed due to staying in late November. Disappointed the railway wasn't working linking Linton.
Wonderful place to stay in an absolutely beautiful town. The building has so much character, and my room was perfect after a hike along the coast path - having a bath was the best surprise I could've hoped for! I was able to grab a drink from the bar and sit in on my windowsill looking out at the sea view. The restaurant wasn't open, which was a shame, but the manager very kindly arranged a table for me at their sister hotel, the Rock Inn, which was lovely. Fab location, tasty breakfast, comfy room - all you could ask for.
The hotel is just outside Lynmouth, at the start of moorland. It seems to be patronised by a lot of walkers as well as others who wish to explore Exmoor. It's an interesting old building that provided us with a comfortable room. The extensive car park is across the road (main road but this is Exmoor so it's not that busy). The staff were lovely - efficient, friendly and helpful. Food was good, both in the evening and at breakfast. They were also able to provide packed lunches on request.
Richard and Helena were natural hosts. We were welcomed and helped with parking straight away. It was lovely to walk into a lovely warm welcoming entrance. Our room had great views and breakfast was a friendly, relaxed and tasty start to the day. The hotel is in a great location, decorated tastefully and we would thoroughly recommend both it and Lynmouth!
Lovely views along the coast and along the river from the windows and the terrace. Peaceful and quiet location. Friendly and helpful owner on site. Steep walk down through the pretty garden into Lynmouth, a couple of seats on the way back up for a rest. Easy access to lots of beautiful walks without even taking out the car.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Lynmouth, can't get any better location. We had a beautiful suite with a small kitchen and fridge, all needed amenities. Had fresh towels daily. Breakfast was great too and a nice surprise for a small hotel. Overall highly recommend if your visiting Lynmouth
The hotel is located in the heart of Lynmouth within a few minutes walk to the sea, pubs and shops. It is spotlessly clean. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Comfortable room with private bathroom. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.
Super comfy, spacious room, v quiet, great staff and service. Breakfast was excellent. Decor was very well thought out and executed. Location was central and access was easy. All local amenities and attractions on the door step. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great views and really well converted apartments - all high quality and no way you could tell it was once a hotel. Work being done on the grounds shows good upkeep too. Also the on site managers were able to provide extra logos for our fire
Lovely hotel in every respect. Jason gave us lemonade and gave my friend a ride to her campsite, and also gave her a walking stick. Such a nice man. Oh, he also sent me off with croissants to eat on the trail.
The bedding was nice, the room was clean and functional. The mattress was comfy. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the service at breakfast was great. The location was excellent, Lynmouth is beautiful.
Excellent breakfast and rooms. The rooms and the guest house were very clean. Staff were very welcoming. Guest house is located in a beautiful part of Devon, great for walking.
We had a fabulous stay.
The Bonnicott is a very nice place to stay and Sarah and Cathryn were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Linton and lynmouth is beautiful and definitely worth a visit.
The Rising Sun is a wonderful ancient hotel in a fantastic location. Lynmouth harbour is just over the road. Very nice room, Super food, friendly staff. I keep going back.
