We were walking the Cotswold Way and the Compass Inn was on the Route. The staff were brilliant so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast and evening meals had a great choice and were lovely, all served in beautiful spaces. We had upgraded our room to an executive one and we did have a large room with two beds joined together, one side was very comfortable, the other not so. The room like the hotel was a little run down and dated, but for what we wanted was ok.

Quaint historical pub, lovely service. Young male receptionist gave us tips to visit Avebury instead of Stonehenge which we really appreciated.

The room was stunning; I booked that day and we lucked out. Amazing location and beautiful decor. communication for late check in was great, no problems at all. Smooth stay, super comfy bed and we loved the private honesty bar!
