Gorgeous dog-friendly pub in a quiet location with friendly staff and great food. They were happy for me to place an order for a meal in the evening, even though the kitchen had technically closed an hour before. My room was fantastic - overlooking the neighbouring cricket field. The pub has a lot of history. Loved all the arty celebrity portraits dotted around too

We were visiting family in Dorking and this was the ideal spot outside of the town. Small village with pretty church. The roof on the bell tower looks like the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter. Locals very friendly. The church organist was about to give us a recital when my son arrived to collect us and we had to leave. We didn’t eat at the Running Horse so cannot comment on the food.
Beautiful building...lovely staff... Lovely breakfast... Lovely grounds... 15mins from Chessington and 51 bucks for a room for 3 with breakie...great comms from hotel staff via msg also...free parking.... What more could you ask for 🤷♀️ the room we stayed in was called Mickleham downs. Basic but spotless and perfect for what we needed. Thanks juniper 👌
we had to book last minute but they accepted us and our dog with no problems. The hotel looks awesome: the room was really big, with a spacious bathroom. The owner is super kind.
Really beautiful hotel, in an incredible location. Staff were so friendly and efficient and the food at dinner was absolutely phenomenal- and all such good value.
Location was perfect, right but bus stop to head into Leatherhead or Dorking. Short walk to Box Hill.
Pub/Hotel was superb. Staff couldn't do enough for you.
