The lady who welcomed me was very friendly & welcoming.
She showed me up to my room and explained all that I needed to know.
The rooms are directly above the bar, and I was not disturbed at all throughout the nights stay.
The room was spacious and warm, and the bed was comfortable and clean.
The shared kitchen had all the appliances that you could ask for, although I didn't need them.
For the price that I was charged for this stay, I would stay again and is only a 15-minute drive from the race track.

Wow what a place! Judith and her partner made our stay very welcome and if you’re considering booking a hotel then don’t as this place has everything you could need. The Annex was very clean and tidy, all the important things you need are provided and you have amazing countryside to explore. Will definitely like to book again :)

Very convenient for the station. The room was fairly spacious though a little dark. Good shower and room comfortable. There was a breakfast menu in the room but the host was a little surprised that we asked about breakfast but he did provide us with a good but slightly unusual breakfast but at extra cost which was expected. THe room was in an outbuilding probably originally a stable block.

Middlewich is a small town with a few town centre pubs and restaurants. Not very far from the town, there are walks along the canal path with a busy working lock. There are two pubs adjacent to the canal, one which serves food. It was a pleasant way to spend a sunny spring day.

Newton Brewery Inn was just a short walk from the town centre and supermarket as well as being next to the river, so for my trip this was a great location.

Loved the place it was OK for our stay and we could compare both rooms one was bijou and modern for our daughters and ours a large family suite. You could hear the road traffic but I can sleep on a washing line so it didn't affect any of us. The staff were so helpful and happy in their work.

I didn't really see much of Middlewich as I had an itinerary in Nantwich already organised. You will need transport to see any of the local sights, although I suspect there could be lots of local walks (but I haven't confirmed this).
Full English gets 100%, staff were lovely helpful and friendly, bedroom and en suite were really comfortable and clean, location suited us for ease of getting were we wanted to, but out the back was the industrial estate, can't be helped though people have to work, and it didn't trouble us that much. The canal bit is nice and it's close to the Middlewich centre. I'd stay there again.

Location for my purposes was very convenient because I was working in Middlewich for a few days.
Facilities overall were very acceptable. Staff were helpful and welcoming.
Bathroom was clean and well presented.
There is much to look at and spend your money on at Hopley House if you have the time to check it all out.
The best perk of the property was free parking behind it, however, this did not belong to the hotel so not really a positive of the property. Therefore, the price of around £45 a night probably the biggest plus but I would not be prepared to pay that again.
Caroline & Clive were fantastic hosts, lovely location and very comfortable. We stay in lots of hotels and this was by far the best breakfast we have had, cooked to perfection.
Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice.
Easy to find and convenient for our reasons for visiting.
Lots of space inside and outside the hotel was appreciated
I liked that I could book all my team into the hotel. It was unfortunate that the bar area was being refurbished. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
