We loved our stay at The Tool Shed. The location was so beautiful and remote; just what we needed! The communication was brilliant, especially as we needed a late night check-in after our wedding. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of bubbly on arrival and a yummy breakfast. The accommodation was so comfy and welcoming, a real home comforts vibe. Looking out of The Tool Shed were endless fields, and luckily for us, lots of sunshine! The owners have the loveliest dog who we enjoyed playing with, too! We hope to visit again someday.

Hotel was just a stopover after arriving at Bournemouth airport, but the staff were excellent and the food standard and beer were way above 'pub food'. Comfy quiet room. We will be back.

I think the property is actually in Dean (not Minchington).
I think the property is actually in Dean (not Minchington). And the postcode causes SatNav system to dump you at the ford across a stream (about a mile from the property).
Minchington & Dean are collections of houses rather than a village. But very nice, deep in the countryside.

Did not go into Minchington as we were visiting Blandford Forum and Yetminster whilst staying at the Cashmoor Inn. Plenty of lovely thatched villages in the area though. Plus great day out at the Tank Museum Bovington Wareham.
