Beautiful location, close to ferry! Nice shower and bath. Large towels. Breakfast was decent but they forgot to put the sausage on the plate and when asked, said they would bring it but had already finished eating before it arrived.
In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart.

The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London.
Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family.
I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.

The hotel is definitely 3 star in terms of rooms and facilities, but the staff are 5 star. Very friendly, accommodating and super helpful. We travelled with 2 dogs and the hotel was very accommodating.

The view to the sands of morar are amazing that’s where the good review ends . We got put in room 30 at the top of the building . The shower head on the shower would not stay high enough on the rail just kept sliding down 😳 The window in the room didn’t shut right so there was a draft constantly which made the room cold . Also when the wind got up there was a constant noise which kept my wife up all night . Over all hotel very tired and dirty not worth the money avoid .

The Morar hotel is located in a small picturesque village overlooking Morar bay and sands.
My wife and I had a two night stay over and enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel staff when we used the dining room and bar facilities. All of the staff members looked after us impeccably, in particular Akram and Tuan worked hard to ensure our stay was memorable.
We would certainly recommend the Morar hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us.
Morar is very quiet which was perfect for us. It is also very well placed for exploring the surrounding areas. The beach was perfect, just like in the photos! The hotel was excellent, a very good menu and tasty food. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Mallaig, 3 miles away, and took a boat trip and got to see Minke whales! We also took the ferry to Skye, just 45 minutes away, and had a fantastic display by dolphins following the ferry!

Morar Hotel is a lovely refurbished hotel with great views from the restaurant and the bedroom we had. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the food was good. Excellent buffet choice at breakfast.
Mallaig was only a couple of miles away and there was a boat doing free sailings until the 31st March which we recommend. The dog also had a great holiday running around the beautiful beaches and in and out the water.
Light and airy. Beautifully clean and well provided with linen and kitchen essentials etc. Lovely couple of owners very pleasant and helpful. Quiet and peaceful situation, easy to walk to loch morar, and a short scenic car or bicycle ride to mallaig or arising . Would definitely recommend it to all our friends wanting relaxing sanctuary. Easy parking for all.
Staff most welcoming to this comfortable hotel; high standards of cleanliness, fresh decor & furnishings. Both Akram & Trenton endeavoured to make our short stay memorable. Offering assistance willingly. Thank you to them both. Views from the hotel are spectacular. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meals: evening dinner & breakfast.
Amazing hotel with fantastic staff and comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was lovely and the views from the hotel were incredible.
The staff in particular were amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure my mother and me had a comfortable stay. In particular, Tuan and Connor were very thoughtful and friendly.
The view was absolutely beautiful, it looked over the sea. The location was super convenient, we took the ferry the following morning and was just a mere 6 minute drive from Mallaig. The service was also really good, I asked for a hair dryer and one was promptly delivered by hand to my door.
All staff at the hotel were very attentive, Touran, Ackram and Naomi were brilliant and made our stay very welcoming. As far as staff are concerned they should be very valued. Food at the restaurant was fantastic and would recommend the curry. Rooms were basic but comfortable and very clean
Lovely traditional hotel, beautiful location, beautiful view from my room, great views from the dining room, good choices at breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Right next to train station. Loch Morar and the Silver Sands of Morar both breathtaking and a short walk away.
Gorgeous location on the coast of Scotland. We were able to walk to Loch Morar, and down to the beach. It was only a 5 minute drive to the ferry, to continue our journey on to the Isle of Skye. The lobby decor and dining room are very nice.
Good location across from Silver Sands of Morar. The single room was small but I knew it would be. Adequate space for a solo traveler. Good number of outlets and placed well in the room. Nice restaurant and staff. Good free parking.
The staff were very caring and helpful, as I had sprained my ankle. If you have to spend time resting, there can't be many hotel rooms with a better view. So peaceful and lovely to look at the Silver Sands of Morar.
Meals were pretty good, Dining room staff very nice and pleasant and help full and the Hotel great position over looking the sands and water with great sunset's over the lsle of Rum &Eigg
The hotel is located on a beautiful loch with mountains surrounding it. Truly an astonishing view. So serene and peaceful. Room was very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and nice.
Staff were really nice, Nadia (Reception) in particular was very helpful. Hotel was very clean and food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Great sea view too.
Hotel situated in a beautiful area , very friendly and polite staff . Good parking, food was ok a little pricey, drinks were expensive . overall disappointed
The hotel is in a great location, situated opposite the railway station, and near a beach. with great views over Rum.
The restaurant staff were excellent.
