The space was splendid and the the bed was really comfortable with a firm mattress. Tea and coffee making facilities were good with a good choice of teas. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the kickboard lights under the basin were convenient for night-time.
The oil heater in the room was useful one chilly evening in view of the radiators being turned off (our stay was during May).

My single room was beautifully decorated, had a comfortable bed and it had a good choice of tea/coffee provided. Breakfast was a lovely full English (no option) and quite late (9-10am) because of the bank holiday weekend.
Although there was a wedding on at the hotel on the first evening, I was given a room well away from the noise.

Needingworth is much further from Cambridge than indicated - at least twice as far by road. There is hardly anything at Needingworth, you need to travel 3 - 5 miles to find shops, petrol etc. Cambridge is a 25 minute drive.
