We were walking the Cotswold Way and the Compass Inn was on the Route. The staff were brilliant so friendly and accommodating and the breakfast and evening meals had a great choice and were lovely, all served in beautiful spaces. We had upgraded our room to an executive one and we did have a large room with two beds joined together, one side was very comfortable, the other not so. The room like the hotel was a little run down and dated, but for what we wanted was ok.

Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. Only one staff member on duty, so although the service was good the staff member was clearly rushed off their feet!
