We have stayed at the Penwig previously and our favourite room is room 7 which has amazing views across the bay. Particularly ideal for Dolphin spotting.
Staff are friendly and very helpful, meals are cooked well and very good value.
We will look forward to staying again.

The room was very comfortable if a bit dark but this was made up for by having a conservatory on the front where you could sit and eat. The wet room was very spacious with a superb rain shower. Superbly equipped with kettle, microwave, and toaster with fresh milk, selection of cereals, yogurt, orange juice and a great selection of tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful host who cooked a superb breakfast and we also took advantage of the lovely evening meal offered.
Providing sea views and a garden, Woodlands Bellevue Bed & Breakfast provides accommodation well located in New Quay, within a short distance of Traeth Gwyn Beach, New Quay Beach and Dolau Beach.

Lovely B&B, the room had a fantastic sea view right from the bed. Good shower, spotlessly clean. The friendly host made us a full cooked breakfast the next day, there was also cereals, juice and fruit available - she couldn’t do enough for us really.

We visited in the winter but still found enough cafes open to be able to get coffees in the day, and an evening meal.
Loved the feel of the place.
Unfortunately I can’t say how it would be in the summer.

We went out of season for this trip as it was for business rather than pleasure. However, having visited New Quay on many occasions over the last 10 to 15 years, we would definitely recommend the Blue Bell Deli and Restaurant, The Penwig, and Crème Pen Cei (the best ice cream on the planet!!!). The main beach is lovely and safe in the summer, with plenty of options for dolphin watching, watersports, crabbing etc. The lifeboat station is worth a visit and the new RNLI shop too. There are a number of small shops selling some good quality products, as well as the usual cheaper seaside fare etc. When the weather is good it is a really lovely place to stay.

The beaches are amazing and the dolphin trips are definitely worth a shot. There are some lovely shops and ice cream! The parking isn’t great unless you get there very early in the morning (not ideal when you’ve been travelling for a few hours). There isn’t a massive amount to do for children, however there are a few activities outside of newquay you can drive through. Our family have been going there for years, it’s a lovely place.

New Quay is a lovely place to visit.
New Quay is a lovely place to visit. There are a number of beautiful beaches and plenty of activities. I highly recommend visiting The Pepper Pot restaurant, great food, great service and a beautiful view when eating outside. There are a lot of hills so getting around could be tricky for some but I found the more i walked the more beautiful the view.

It was lovely coastal town ,plenty of places to sit and watch things going on in and around the harbour. We had a meal at The Penrhiwllan Inn ,food and staff were great and we got in for Sunday dinner too would recommend this is on the road into Newquay .My only disappointment at Newquay were the parking bays but although they were free on the front it was only 3o mins not a lot of time really the main car parks were a bit out of town ,granted only £3 all day ,but i found it very steep in places to walk back up .
The location was good and within walking distance of New Quay and the our room had a great view of the sea and the harbour, it was light and airy and spotlessly clean. Towels - brilliant ! Breakfast was tasty and Christine was welcoming and very accommodating when we needed to change our breakfast time, we felt very comfortable and relaxed and Christine offered the conservatory for us to use if we wanted to. Free wifi
Although it was an older model, the caravan was very clean, comfortable and well kept. The site the van was on was lovely, and just a few minutes drive from New Quay itself with beautiful views looking over the sea. We didn't use any of the facilities but the clubhouse looked lovely with a great park for kids and 2 seasonal pools. Great communication with the owner, I would definitely book this accommodation again!
A beautiful static home, well equipped, very comfortable.
Lovely 'extras' ...binoculars for looking for dolphins/sea life for example. Great communication from Dave prior and although didn't need emergency contacts were provided in case of problems.
The highlight.....the amazing view over new quay of cardigan Bay. Sitting in the evening on balcony watching sunset and early mornings were spectacular.
There is plenty to do in New Quay, especially on a short stay, and plenty of new beaches to explore. Then of course New Quay is famous for it's resident dolphins, which are always a pleasure to witness in the wild. New Quay provides the opportunity for a traditional, family seaside holiday.
Beautiful secluded spot, ideal for travelling to new quay and cardigan (the areas we visited) and many others I’m sure. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had lovely breakfasts cooked to order by Barbara. Our dog had a paddock to run around in and he had a great stay too!
very tidy, very modern, no skimping, great coffee machine.
Don’t let the no food situation put you off, it’s next door to the pepperpot which does a great breakfast, and within 100 yds of every main eatery in New Quay, shop 40 yds away too.
The location was just perfect. The view from the room was exceptional and the room was clean and comfortable with everything you needed.
Breakfast was lovely with plenty to eat to start your day in beautiful New Quay
Overall an excellent stay and so lovely to see the new born lambs in the morning. A great place to stay close to New Quay but nicely off the beaten track. Incredibly dog friendly too.
