Location and views were superb. Pods were absolutely clean and a little welcome pack was lovely. Even the room we stayed in the house was big with beautiful views. Indoor barbecue was fantastic. We took our family from India to Scotland and stayed with them at Tigh an Each. They were very impressed. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Stevie & Joan for being such kind hosts and for such a wonderful stay!
We will definitely recommend Tigh an Each to our friends and might plan another visit soon! 😀

Newtonmore is a small village with little to offer in the way of shops, etc. The speed limit in towne center is much too fast to afford safe pedestrian crossing of Main Street and the thru traffic is heavy for such a small town. The crown jewel of Newtonmore by far is the Balavil Hotel; the accommodations are warm and comfortable, the staff is top notch and the food is superb.

Well appointed hotel complex.
Well appointed hotel complex. Our room was in the Annexe and very well furnished for short stay visitors. Very clean and fresh. Garden and surrounding areas well maintained and seating areas provided should the weather be favourable.
We opted to eat in the hotel for Dinner and were not disappointed. Service was first class and food standards were excellent.
Areas arund Newtonmore very accessible from the A9 and east through Kincraig to Aviemore was pictuesque. Lots to see and do, very vibrant area within 15 mile radius.
Avoid coming through Perth as road Duelling on A9 is causing significant delays. approach from the south easier through Crieff and join A9 at Dunkeld- free run from there.

Newtonmore is an excellent base for a stay in the highlands.
Newtonmore is an excellent base for a stay in the highlands. Without the business of Aviemore easy access to the Highland Wildlife Park and Highland Folk Museum and if you feel the need for something to do that all ages can take part in there's the Wildcat Walking Tour. A selection of eating places but if fast food is your thing maybe not for you.

Lovely village to stay in for touring this area of Scotland.
Lovely village to stay in for touring this area of Scotland. Golf course and beautiful river side walks. Easy access to A9 for travelling further afield. The Glen Pub at the edge of the village is a must - very friendly welcome and service and stunning food. Co-op in the village for those needing groceries etc. on a self-catering holiday. If you stay in this area I recommend a visit to a fantastic coffee shop in Kincraig called The Post Office Cafe Gallery.
We were very happy with our stay at Clune House, Bryan and Laura were amazing hosts. The rooms very clean and the beds were very comfy. They offered fresh goats milk for the room, which was really delicious. Also the complimentary fudges they offered were some of the best ones we had in Scotland. The breakfast was also great, Laura is a really great cook. Plus having some filter coffee was a plus for us. The location is great if you are driving to Highlands from Edinburgh or if you want to explore the Cairngorms Park.
A beautiful cozy home that gives you a nostalgic feeling with lots of attention to detail, beautiful surroundings.
The rooms were clean, spacious, well equiped and have a fantastic view.
Breakfast was great, with a variety to choose from, including a home-cooked full Scottish breakfast.
Beautifuly decorated guest area, with a piano, board games and a good variety of books.
The host was extremely kind and helpful.
The area is nice, quick drive to Newtonmore and other attractions within the Cairngorms National Park
John and Irene are wonderful, friendly hosts. I was walking across Scotland on the TGO Challenge and they looked after me wonderfully. I am very grateful and would recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. The hotel is quiet, well kept and well appointed. Their attention to detail is second to none. Thank you very much indeed and I hope to visit again in the future.
The hotel is in a great location and represented excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming, the hotel is dog-friendly and the breakfast was good. We only booked a "smaller" double room but found this to be generously proportioned. Parking was conveniently situated and there is a bar (albeit the hotel was nearly empty the night we stayed so it was quiet).
The hotel was located right in the city with reachability to main points, cafes, restaurants. It is located in the Cairngorns National park which means you're close to a lot of attractions. It is clean and tidy while being also small and cozy. We loved our beds and we had a very good nice sleep.
The B&B is owned by two wonderful people, Lynda and Eric! their home is very inviting and homey. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was big and the bed super comfortable. The location right outside Newtonmore is great! We will most definitely be back!!
The breakfasts and service were amazing. We really enjoyed chatting with Moira and her son Ryan, and they gave us great tips for dinner and shopping. The town of Newtonmore is quiet and conveniently located to hiking trailheads.
Very comfortable en suite room in a nice house in Newtonmore. Everything seemed freshly refurbished and the house, room and services were outstanding. Nice home-made breakfast included in the price. You feel very welcome.
Lovely accommodation in a quiet location, owner very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Good quality cooked breakfast with a selection of fruit and cereal, toast and homemade jam selection more like a hotel than a b&b
Excellent hotel, comfortable, spotless, food was wonderful. Location great, easy going to and fro to various venues. Kids had a ball going to landmark, Aviemore etc need to come back and see other things!
Very very cheap accommodation on New Year's Eve. The bathroom is a small walk away. There was a kettle and a microwave, and some cutlery. Stunning views in the morning of the surrounding mountains.
Beautiful location. Lovely conservatory with comfy couches. Wonderful hosts. Delicious homemade breakfast. Great setting for a getaway. Found a marker nearby saying it was the Centre of Scotland!
Definitely glad we stayed here instead of big hotel. It had a personal and homely feel at the same time it was very clean like a hotel. Marion and Graeme are excellent hosts.
Clean, basic. cheap accomadation for a one night stay was perfect, no food available but plenty of hotels serving near by, host was very nice and could not do more to help.
Dinner was good both nights. Swimming pool was good for a short swim after a day in the mountains. The super market being next to the hotel was very convenient also.
