Super clean and comfortable. Despite being right on the road it was v quiet. Especially bedrooms at the back. Easy to park opposite in pub carpark. Bought pints from there and drank on cottage's sunny bench. Excellent position for exploring beautiful moors. Easy to pick up our kids from Kieghley station as they joined us from Leeds.

On the plus side, the bed linen seemed clean. Confusingly, Bookingdotcom had sent me a pin code for door entry, which was different from the one sent by the hotel. This caused an issue with entering the building, but was sorted after a call to the hotel helpline. There were no staff in the hotel at any time, except at breakfast, which was great.

It is a very impressive building in a nice location. My room was large and comfortable and very clean. Staff were welcoming and friendly and there was good free parking available.
