Breakfast was ok except replacing the empty milk on the coffee machine seemed like a task too far the member of staff the lad on reception was helpful.
Boasting excellent transport links, this contemporary-style 4-star hotel is set on the outskirts of Huntingdon, just minutes away from the A14, linking to the M11 southbound and the A1(M) north.

stayed here 4 times now always pleasant only one complaint you really need an extractor in the kitchen every time we stay there it smells strongly of fish.
Offering a garden and a terrace, The Old Bridge has rooms with a DVD player, free WiFi and air conditioning. Located in Huntingdon, it comes with free parking.

The breakfast service was incredibly slow and the food was not great value for money
The town is very picturesque, nice walks down by the river.
The town is very picturesque, nice walks down by the river. There is a cycle path that runs all along the busway, from St Ives to Cambridge. This is flat, completely traffic-free and about 15 miles each way.

We were going to St Ives for the annual and amazing Old Riverport Jazz and Blues Festival - now in its 9th year - four days of free !!! awesome bands which coincides with the Heritage Open day in St Ives.
Because the music was hosted for free it meant everyone had a bit more money available to pay to get to St Ives and / or to have a bit of treat. St Ives has the perfect medieval layout for such an event and the weather was perfect for the outdoor music events. Discovering the quirky venues in such a beautiful historical riverside town was a real joy, and the quality of the muscians made it a genuinally special bit of magic.

Lovely little riverside town with plenty of amenities.
Lovely little riverside town with plenty of amenities. Some great restaurants, we'd recommend Di Ritas Italian, and the Hambleton Bakery (next door to Waitrose).
We had a charter trip on the Electric Boat company, and that's 5Star! You must try it, but book in advance.

I like the mix of little shops and cafes, and there are lovely walks by the river and beyond. We enjoyed the fabulous food at the Italian restaurant on the waterfront, and its a good idea to book, it’s very popular. It’s very easy to get around, with a lot of paved walk ways, and we walked everywhere. I was disappointed in the amount of larger shops that have closed, but sadly this is the same in many small towns, so I am not being critical of St Ives.

Interesting and attractive Cambridgeshire market town.
Interesting and attractive Cambridgeshire market town. We were only over-nighting, so didn't have the opportunity to investigate the town's attractions. The riverside looked especially pretty. Definitely enough promise to tempt us back for a day trip.

No thru traffic which made walking around the town very pleasant; old river bridge out of the town and river quay is delightful. Very old buildings to admire and the flower market together with the food market on another morning made shopping a really enjoyable experience for the visitor to the town.
Very well located for access to town with plenty of parking on site. It’s a quiet, small and friendly hotel with well appointed rooms and bathrooms. The only disappointment was the lack of cooked breakfast. We’ve stayed before and this has been good but sadly they are struggling to replace staff who’ve left but I would stress this is a national and hopefully temporary problem and the long serving staff have been working very hard to keep it going. Highly recommend for visiting St. Ives or a pit stop en route near Cambridge.
Hotel is better than the rating! I booked just because there was nothing else available around (usually avoiding hotels with the rating less than 8), but all was perfectly ok. I think it's Schrödinger's breakfast (was available when I stayed - nothing spectacular but enough food and good fruit salad) which puts people down. The rest is perfectly fine, normal comfortable hotel.
Lovely comfortable house. Home from home. Visiting for a weekend to see family. The house made a great base and was an easy walk into St Ives. Very comfy beds. Great shower. The property was very clean and had a nice garden to relax in. The house was well equipped. Ray is a fantastic host and was super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
This was alot bigger than expected, I didn't realise it was up & downstairs, was great space for my husband, me & my 2 kids...then last minute my nephew wanted to come & there was plenty of space. Located right next to all the restaurants, river & shops in St ives. We are visiting family & would most definitely rent this property again.
Lovely hotel and this is our 4th stay, the hotel is in the centre of the pretty market town of st ives and is truly charming. The hotel is tastefully decorated and rooms comfortable. Staff are really helpful and so friendly and the breakfast team are lovely. We will stay again I am sure and recommend to others
This is an excellent and very well-run hotel. The staff were pleasant and efficient (particularly Jason, who was very friendly and welcoming) and our room was cosy, warm and clean. Loved the stylish decor in room and around hotel and appreciated the central location. Would highly recommend!
Great place to stay tranquill and very peaceful yet a busy pub with great views of the river 20 foot away and great atmosphere.Have a beer and watch the boats go by.

The location was good, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, everything you would need. The room was basic but clean, parking was available. Great value for money. We enjoyed our stay.
Really good to be able to walk into St Ives, we would stay there again.
I received a very friendly welcome from the Receptionist, and all the staff were very friendly.
The bed linen was immaculate and the room spotless.
The breakfast was very good, and delivered promptly.
Would particularly like to commend Elaina, who is a real asset to the hotel.
Beautiful!! Love the history, loved the country location!! it is close to Cambridge, but didn’t have time to go there, so will have to come stay again! There were plenty of places to go for beautiful walks. 😍
Staff was Great and food was good! Cheers!🍺
Fabulous staff, very clean and welcoming hotel, huge rooms good food and drinks, did I mention fabulous staff? Nice touch is the "doggy brew" canister just inside the main door for our four legged friends to refresh themselves.
Penthouse was very clean and well equipped, information sent by Simon to gain entry to the apartment was clear and precise.
Nice residential area, a bit to far for us to walk into St Ives (but we are getting on a bit)
Great location for the town and access to river walks. Nice spacious kitchen with big table for family meals. Well equipped kitchen. Bedroom and bathroom accommodation good. Helpful host answered queries promptly.
Very well appointed and immediate impression was of high quality accommodation.
Further exploration revealed a few pointers for improvement for 'luxury accommodation '
Great location for the jazz and blues festival weekend. This hotel is under new management and the new funky decor gives it a fresh , contemporary look.
