Although it is a small village there are 3 dog friendly cafes to choose from. I would recommend The Barn which has a garden nursery, gift shop, ice cream parlour and restaurant. There are also plenty of walks nearby and it is not far to the lovely town of Garstang.

Scorton is quiet.
Scorton is quiet. For an evening meal or drink you need to go to Garstang, though it is only 7 minute drive away. Ideal location to take in a walk around Grizedale Reservoir or up Nicky Nook to see fantastic viewsM MeiaUnited Kingdom

Hotel situated in a very pretty little village with an attractive appearance outside. The room was very large but dated & could definitely use upgrading. Similarly, the bathroom was huge but only had a tiny little shower cubicle which was a challenge for any tall people. The apartments were amazing, very comfortable, modern and clean, they catered for all our needs. We came prepared but there was a spar shop opposite the hotel if you needed anything. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. All my family enjoyed the comfort and facilities.. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a perfect romantic get away for a couple. It was dog friendly too which was great. Lots of nice dog walks nearby and the village of scorton was a short walk away for breakfast/lunch.
