Check-in and out were fantastic, the team in the restaurant for dinner were plesant and in the most were good. Food was a step above what I had sxpected so was pleasntly surprised.

It was quiet and we were on the ground floor.
The reception sold me a bottle of beer as the nearby Spar shop was closed

I would highly recommend this place to stay, and I will 110% be staying again!!
Cleanliness of the room, SPOTLESS! You would think it had just been renovated!
Considering it's a pub below, you wouldn't know.
Comfortable, big bed.
No shops nearby, but it didn't bother me as I had been walking all day, but had a car, so it wouldn't have been a problem to pop out if needed.

poor communication, poor facilities food was nice and room was clean but a spa hotel it isn't anymore. they failed to tell us beforehand we have been many times but felt cheated as they could have let us know we booked a year in advance.

Hotel was clean, the beds comfy and the staff were polite.
But a few things to note which we found dissapointing.
So we had a large deluxe king room, I would of hoped for 2 large towels we had 1 large towel for 2 people to use?
The shower was lovely BUT, by the time we had both showered the bathroom floor had a puddle on it and we had to use one of the 2 hand towels to soak it up.
The lamp on the bed on one side was loose so no direction, and if you had the main lights on don't look up if your laying on the bed you would be blinded by the spot lights.
Lovely TV but no way to tell what programmes were coming up or were on as no info under guide and apparently it was a Wednesday in April?
We decided we would eat at the restaurant, well we went to the bar first hubby asked for a pint of bitter the staff had no idea what this was?, I made a comment about ohh apparently they have cocktails, this led to the bar staff looking panicked so I dropped it.
The food prices all seemed pretty high and honestly the whole area felt cold and clinical, and being dissapointed about the limitation on drinks we decided to walk the 3 mins to a Brewyers fayre which was opposite, best decision we made, food 1/3 cheaper, they knew what Bitter was and had a great selection cocktails.
Breakfast was included in the price, it was ok but I have had better, again the resturant area really felt cold and clinical.
The staff when chatting to were lovely, the bed and room overall was clean and comfy but just be ready to have waders for the bathroom and to bring extra towels with you. Had hoped for a bit more but recommend the Brewyers fayre opposite atmosphere and staff were excellent.

Stayed one night, great value as we booked dinner, bed and breakfast. We used the leisure facilities which were great. We had a drink in the bar and had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was good quality and nicely presented. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything catered for in the rooms, although there wasn’t a hairdryer, which wasn’t a problem for us as I always bring my own.

I booked a deluxe king room but pretty sure it was just a standard room as was much smaller than the one I previously stayed in… which was booked as a standard room so who knows!
Bed was quite hard but other than that all fine.

Room really nice. Good pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, with a small gym too. Great glazing as no noise from motorway could be heard. So location great but also quiet and had a good nights sleep. There is a (busy) Brewers Fayre opposite (but with a 2 hour wait, we ended up eating in the hotel - at the bar - so can order before the restaurant is open!) Burgers very nice. Staff very friendly. Breakfast really nice and kids will love the mini pancake making machine!
Recently refurbished hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, with more than enough storage. The staff was helpful, and made our short stay very pleasant.
Breakfast was great too, with a choice of cooked breakfast, pastry, yoghurt, fruits etc. I would recommend this hotel even for a longer stay.
Clean, friendly hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, room met requests and would definitely stay again. Really no negatives to our 2 night stay that was 7 miles from 'family gathering venue' yet location re; road access made this easy. Very impressed and will see you next year :)
We did not have breakfast or anything to eat at the hotel because we were visiting family. Our room was cold so at night time we had to switch it off, because the system creates a noise that doesn;t allow me to sleep at night.N/A
The staff at this hotel were so helpful and friendly. I even made arrangements with them to decorate our room with decorations I posted to them before our arrival as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday! 🥳
Accommodation was good, breakfast was from an acceptably early time and choices were very good. Staff were extremely helpful! Air con in room was very good and also good inside Hotel.
We used to hotel simply to break our journey and it fulfilled all of our expectations. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed.
My husband and I enjoyed everything about the hotel. Really lovely experience! The food was mouth watering, the room was comfortable and had a waterfall shower which was wonderful.
The hotel was very clean and modern no old and worn furniture.
It was a very busy hotel used mainly by business people.
The food was very good and well presented.
