On check in staff were not very helpful just gave us the key and that was it no information on breakfast etc. Soon as we walked in the room it had a funny smell to it. Only one Bath towel provided. At breakfast no staff about to ask where to go what to do etc.JessUnited Kingdom

Choice of breakfast cooked and continental, very tasty and well presented. Large areas in bar and restaurant , great decor, Room was quiet and all mod cons, with excellent bathroom and TV, and outside garden feature with small Lake and nesting Duck, certainly will return when in the area. Well done to everyone at the Hotel !

I liked the walk in shower rather than a shower over a bath. The room was also really quiet, so often hotels are located on busy roads. Dinner was excellent, i can't eat potatoes and the dish i picked contained potatoes however the chief happily adapted the recipe to produce a really tasty curry without any potato- greatly appreciated. The staff were all friendly and cheerful, happy in their work which is such a tonic.

The bar/restaurant had a comprehensive food and drink menu which is greatly appreciated when travelling on business. The smart TV in the bedroom was a nice addition, even though I couldn't get the screen sharing to work.
