Good breakfast
It was noisy during the night due to the laminate floors

We stayed for two nights while visiting family. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable, well appointed, with a spotless, modern bathroom. This was a pleasant surprise as we had requested a dog friendly room and these rooms can sometime be a bit basic. However there was even dog bed provided! The reception staff were friendly and helpful. On this occasion we were out for most of the day and therefore didn’t eat in the restaurant. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit the family.

The food in the restaurant was lovely and fairly priced, and the staff were attentive.
Comfortable seating in the lounge area
There was plenty of breakfast and a very good selection.
Although we didn’t use the leisure facilities, they were there if we'd wanted to

Pub on the River Lea with outdoor seating. Good restaurants and a café serving food and decent coffee in the village. Nice decor inside. We ate at the Indian restaurant which was great with pleasant staff. Lea Valley Regional Park is a must see. Beautiful walks or cycle rides through to London if you want to cycle distance. Local train station will take you to London. Also Cambridge with a change in Broxbourne. There is also a regular bus service.
