The property is situated in a lovely quiet village which was perfect for us.
The room was a bit tired but the price we paid probably reflected that.
The food however was fantastic and young Finley and Sarah in the bar were a great help in advising us of local places to visit.
As we were leaving this morning we met the owner who informed us they had only taken over a few days ago. She explained they are planning a revamp of the whole place which will be a benefit for future users.
All in all I think we did get value for money and I would love to see what they do with the place.

Staff very welcoming, gave us a ground floor room due to my husband having sciatica, without hesitation. Had a lovely meal in the evening, was reasonably priced. Room was a nice size and comfortable.

I got a double bed, when I thought I was only getting a single. I had a fridge full of goodies which I was told that I could help myself to, which was totally unexpected and I was asked when I arrived what I wanted for a cooked breakfast in the morning, I didn't think breakfast was provided. Really happy with my stay. My only criticism was that the place needs a bigger sign to show where it is, as I went past it a couple of times.

It was very quiet and comfortable and everything worked well including TV and wifi. There was plenty of space in rooms.
