Perfect location if you have a car. The famous cows are nearby. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We hiked all the trails in the area. We're not hikers but the hills were so pretty so we had to explore. It's exactly what you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. The pub/restaurant are super nice. Food is tasty, a bit expensive, but it's ok. All staff was amazing. We can't wait to come back

Our stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel exceeded the (already high) expectations we had for our trip to the Cotswolds. The location is stunning, the staff was very friendly and helpfull with good suggestions for local activities and places to go to. The gardens and many places to sit are superb. We can highly recommend this hotel for your trip to the Cotswolds

The staff were helpful although there were limited staff on duty. The location was lovely and we enjoyed the cows which were roaming free .
For a Friday night we expected more local people using the bars.

Stroud is quite a big town in Gloucestershire and, as such, it has all of the shops and amenities one would expect. Plus, with a taxi rank, train station and frequent bus services to/from Cheltenham and Gloucester, among other places, the town is well connected. I would recommend it as a base from which to explore Gloucestershire.

Vibrant, friendly and historic town full of stylish places to eat and drink, unique gift shops surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local bus service was also very reliable on the Saturday ( well - better than my own at home anyway!). Public toilets in the town were clean and convenient.
I was on my own but felt safe even at nighttime.
Would recommend the indoor market, Stroud Bookshops, as well as Cornflower and Calico for kitchenware gifts. The Coffee House and Curio Lounge Cafe Bar were great places to visit as well.

Amberley Inn was in a village outside Stroud, the area was very picturesque and plenty to do in the area. The Aboretum at Batsford was exceptional with lovely autumn colour and the Cotswold Villages are a delight.

Went to watch Giffords Circus at Minchinghampton Common, the show was fantastic and the atmosphere great, ate in the local pub, good food but a tad on the expensive side.
Lovely area of the Country to visit
The hotel is lovely, it's in a very quiet and beautiful location with plenty of on site parking. The staff were very approachable and welcoming throughout our stay and the room was clean with a lovely view. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was very nice too.
The hotel is in a great location for visiting Gloucester, Cheltenham and the surrounding area, it has some nice pubs for food and drink locally too.
Very clean and comfortable with everything you might need in an apartment, even an induction hob. Spacious. We had never visited Stroud before and the 5 Valleys Aparthotel turned out to be quite centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the shops. Most of the major supermarkets were were represented. Dog walking was easy, with access to the canal towpath just two minutes away from the apartment.
Though next door to a thriving pub, our stay was quiet and restful. It is so handy to have the pub next door with its excellent menu. The village location is pleasant and walks are easily accessible. Easy access to Stroud was a reason to choose this location, and the drive (short route on Sat Nav!) was interesting for its narrow lanes and picturesque villages.
Location was stunning with great views. Hotel was much larger than I expected with lovely outdoor area with bar. Interior was lovely with good views from the restaurant. Lots of lovely bar areas. The whole hotel was decorated beautifully. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Well-situated in a heritage area, close to the town centre, public transport and other local services. Comfortable, warm flat with quiet neighbours, good facilities and pleasing views to the hills and Severn Vale. Particularly liked the canal-themed photos on the walls. Provided a welcoming 'second home' during my stay.
Spacious two bedroom apartment with separate lounge area and well designed kitchenette. For the space, the accommodation represents reasonable value for money and it is dog friendly (but you will have to eat out for breakfast or pack food). Friendly staff and pretty good pub food downstairs
Abi is a wonderfully charming and solicitous host. Her expert knowledge of Stroud really enriched our stay. The accommodation was comfortable, relaxing and spotless. It was a great privilege to stay in such a warm and welcoming home. Thank you.
I went there for playing golf in Minchinhampton Golf Club. The location is perfect, not only for the golf but also for exploring the Cotswold Area. The bed is comfortable. I enjoy staying with the family of Emily, which made me feel at home.
Perfect stay. Clean, comfortable, excellent location, and friendly staff. Bonus points for wonderful included breakfast. This one definitely ticks all the boxes if you're visiting Stroud. And you should visit Stroud.
The accommodation provides everything you need for a getaway. The views from the accommodation is exceptional, the location is great for exploring the area and shops and restaurants not far away in Stroud.
A lovely comfortable bed, clean linen, thick towels, in a very warm hotel and great staff who were friendly and helpful. Excellent food, freshly cooked and served for both dinner and breakfast.
The original building and surrounding area is really beautiful. Generally the staff were very friendly and helpful and I really liked the fact they provided things like routes for local walks.
Cottage for three had plenty of room and nice big window seats to set our luggage. It was quiet and dark at night. Staff was very helpful to answer our questions.
