The host was very helpful and friendly. The whole place was clean and just what we needed. Crockery and Utensils were provided along with tea, coffee and milk. The WiFi was free. The location was great within walking distance of the beach.

A lovely old hotel, and excellent position close to the pier and The Lanes, with great ocean and promenade view from my double room at the front. Both the room and bathroom were large and well appointed The Old Ship will be my first choice in Brighton on future visits.

Immaculately clean with amazing attention to detail. James was a brilliant and attentive host, nothing was too much trouble. One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in and will definitely return. My brother stayed in the penthouse suite and it was out of this world. Breakfast was fabulous as well. An absolute gem of a hotel 😍
