There was a park with Lakes, ducks, fishing and a cafe with parking almost accross the road from our stay. It was local to the buisness we needed to do. People friendly. Lots of shops. Two train stations. Other bigger park with childrens play area and train track other side of Thorne. Have been there before. Didnt eat in there this time. Went to a small local village. Can be busy in the town centre but ok. Locals seem to like it there.

You can expect to have the warmest of welcome which is its plus points and easy access into Thorne and surrounding areas. The bar is nice and food was good.
