The location is excellent. It’s a steep walk back from town, but it’s well worth it as the views over the bay are panoramic. Taxis are available, but we took a brisk walk as a digestive aid. We were fortunate enough to have excellent weather and sat out on the balcony for breakfast and drinks in the evening. As such we did not use the lounge much, but it was very comfortable with great views from the windows. The bedrooms were good sized and comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Attractive quiet town with a very pretty and clean sea front, the subject of many photographs. There is a lovely footpath from the seafront to the lighthouse, with wild garlic and bluebells on either side. Café Fish delicious but pricey. Do book in advance as it gets very booked up. The museum and shops are quite interesting but we felt we didn't want to spend longer than a night there. We loved the quietness, changing light, clear sea and very pleasant local people. If you stay on the ridge above the main street it is a steep hill to get back to your accommodation, so beware!

I was there for work so only for one night, but I will go back for a short break. The area is colourful and again I was lucky with the weather, the sun was shining and there were paddle boarders out in the water and kids on the small beach. The people are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The local produce is fantastic so make sure you try some of the smaller cafes and stores for bread, pastries etc. There is quite a few restaurants so again try them.

As it was out of season, it was delightful, wouldn't want to go during high season, roads are very narrow, although there are plenty of passing places, which some visitors seem to ignore. Lovely island with amazing wildlife, worth a visit.

So much to do, visiting Tobermory Cheese Farm on Friday afternoon, Tobermoray Beach and Aros Park one day and Calgary Beach the next. Then Monday am an hour boat trip to learn about the local wildlife and history, followed by learning about whales in the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust shop where really knowledgeable helpers chatted about all things bones, teeth, shared books and showed lovely interest in our kids' interests. Going at Easter was perfect as it wasn't too busy and we were very lucky with the weather. Great base to explore Mull. I found driving around the island takes a lot of concentration!

Nice little town, mostly closed in January when we were there but that's to be expected in a holiday destination given the location and time of year. We went for the walks and scenery (both great) not shopping!
Right in the middle of the colored houses in Tobermory, right beside a beautiful church and across from the town dock and clock tower. What few restaurants and pubs on the Isle of Mull were within walking distance. There were many shops and a food store very close the the front door. It had a washer and full kitchen. It was self-catering which allowed us to get up early for walks along the beaches and to Carsaig Arches and such (10 hour walk, paths are treacherous in places... do not go if you are not in good shape).
Where to start, a 9 day trip, Glengorm was the best! Welcoming staff, breathtaking views, most beautiful castle in Scotland. only stayed one night , of several booked in other castles, my mistake, should have stayed longer! Had the tower suites, truly unbelievable , enough room for a village, exceeded all expectations, Grounds and Castle were post card perfect, clean, secure, and simply Beautiful. Would Highly Recommend to anyone with plans to visit Isle of Mull.
Location was fabulous! Easy walking to all the shops, restaurants and across the street from the harbor.
Washing machine and drying rack. So great to be able to wash clothes after 10 days of traveling
Loved the fact there were blackout shades in the bedroom! June in Scotland it is light out until after 11 pm and sun rises at 3:30 am, so appreciated being able to sleep in.
Heated towel rack was great. Kitchen was fully outfitted.
Fantastic family run hotel. Amazing staff friendly and warm. The room was cosy with a fabulous shower and bathroom. A short walk into Tobermory. We ate in the bar area, and the food was outstanding. The fish dishes caught by the families son were just delicious . We had the most amazing night spending our 31st wedding anniversary in beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend staying in this hotel you will not be disappointed.
A lovely stay at a super clean B&B a few minutes walk from the sea front. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, very nice buffet breakfast with cereal, toast and a buffet including bagels, croissants, cold meats, smoked salmon and cheeses. On-street parking right outside and very welcoming hosts. Ate at the Western Isles hotel one night and at a local
Pub on the sea front the second - both very good.
A newly opened guest house, and what a brilliant place. John and Robert were really welcoming and the house was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Loads of advice on what to do on Mull and where to eat in Tobermory. We had a beautiful room with great sea views and the breakfast was excellent too. We were sad to leave however we had a really memorable time here.
Good location on the main road between Tobermory and Craignure, without being noisy. Clean overall. Fully equipped kitchen and a spacious common room. Our room was large with five beds (we needed only three) and a fully equipped if very small sanitary cell (other rooms only have a sink, and showers and toilets are shared). Great views over the Sound of Mull
Lynn’s flat was absolutely lovely - it was the perfect base for enjoying Tobermory and the beautiful Isle of Mull. The flat was immaculately clean and incredibly cosy, perfect for us and our two young boys. We had a really great stay there, and Lynn was the absolute perfect host - extremely friendly, kind, and informative. We look forward to going back.
We had a lovely stay at the Western Isles Hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room had a great view and we had a good night sleep throughput our stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location and we loved the walk to the harbour and all the quaint shops and the walk to the lighthouse is a must too!
This was our best stay during our trip to Scotland. It is a beautiful and comfortable appartment with a great view of the tobermory harbour. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything you could need and the host provides you with some little goodies like milk and wine to welcome you.
Great stop over in Tobermory after a days walking on Mull. Great kitchen facilities and large light filled dining kitchen room with views of the harbour. Co-op a few door down meant feeding the family was easy. Rooms cool in the evening despite being at the top of the building.
Lewis and Sophie are excellent hosts, welcoming and professional. The hotel is ideally placed on the harbour front. The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and everything in working order. The inhabitants of Mull are friendly, very tolerant and gentle
great location for a trip to Isle of Mull.
east walk to downtown unless you can’t manage the steep footpath.
quiet. comfortable, clean, nice bed and linens great breakfast and lovely friendly and informative host
The location was great; near Tobermory and right on the side of the road. The views from the hotel were beautiful as well. The bulletin board with flyers for tours and wildlife sighting was an added bonus!
Being in Tobermory was spectacular. It is definately a one of a kind spot. HarbourView B&B was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable.
