The landlord was very welcoming and friendly, as were the 'regulars' in the bar. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept in, resulting in a great night's sleep. The Heworth Inn is only 10 to 12 minutes walk to the city centre and has parking at the rear. We only booked 1 night but could happily have stayed longer.

A 20-minute walk from the centre of York, including York Minster, the family-run Diamonds Villa was built in 1876 and offers free WiFi.

The property was well maintained and clean with gorgeous views of the lake from the livingroom window. York was only 25 minutes away and was a short drive to local pubs and shops for filling the fridge. The hot tub was amazing! We travelled with our 10 month old daughter & Lisa was able to set up a travel cot in the 3rd bedroom which was really appreciated for our stay.
