I had a botanical skills assessment the next day so needed a good night's sleep, the room was very quiet so had a good rest after a long car journey. It was also much roomier than I expected, immaculate and well maintained right through and the staff were very welcoming and professional. The breakfast was promptly served and very good, the coffee was excellent and staff helped me a lot in checking my route to the village where my assessment was taking place - getting there on time was vital so I appreciated their assistance. They don't serve evening meals but do put out a place setting for people to eat takeaway dinners in comfort in their dining room. A very civilised and comfortable stay. I'd recommend the George to anyone. It suited my needs perfectly.

I had a wonderful stay with Neema, a lovely apartment. It was warm, comfortable and clean. Pretty location walk distance from the town center. A beautiful building and garden, the welcome was warm with tea and freshly baked cakes. Fiona is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast had so much choice, cooked to order, home baked bread..... Fiona was very kind and welcoming to my rescue dog. Taffy loved being on the farm and fell for one of the labs. We had a lovely time as a family during our stay at Holamoor farm. We received a very warm welcome from Nicky and the two pups. The rooms were beautiful and we were served a lovely fry-up in the morning. Would recommend!
