A pretty, traditional, small country village.
A pretty, traditional, small country village. It is situated near woodland and historical abbey ruins and was quiet at night (my companion and I were out all day, each day). It’s handy for many visitor attractions (Rievaulx Abbey; Helmsley Walled Garden and castle; the National Bird of Prey Centre… to name but four).
