2nd visit for us. Daughter & I came last year & the location was perfect for the event we were attending. The rooms are nice & clean & the staff super helpful. The thing that’s especially good is the electric car charging as coming from Bristol it was great to recharge overnight for the return journey. Definitely would stay again has a great vibe about the place.

Wonderful city! Loved the old houses and beautiful flowers everywhere- met a few friendly locals and enjoyed a bit of charity shopping. Busses were easy to use and accepted cashless payments which was a bonus.
We ate and stayed at The White Hart which was incredible and offered the most amazing food.

Old Welwyn us a sleepy, pretty little village, Welwyn Garden City (a couple of miles, if that) is a lovely little town, lots of restaurants and bars. London is 30 minutes by train. Stay here and commute in if you want a London holiday....

I was in the area to visit family and since they didn't have room for me I stayed in this hotel/restaurant/pub. It was very comfortable and the room was quiet even with the bar downstairs. The bed was comfortable, which is always important! I had the option to have my room refreshed every day if I chose to. Welwyn is a cute village and I always felt safe. I didn't eat in town since I was visiting family but there are lots of places to eat.

It is a lovely village with an very good selection of places to eat and drink. We enjoyed our walk around the village, it felt safe and welcoming. Very close to the M25 for journeys further afield. The surrounding countryside is beautiful too.

We were visiting the area for a particular reason and chose Welwyn because we were aware (a little bit) of it. We found the town very much to our liking; plenty of choice for evening meals and, surprisingly, very quiet at night.
Lovely room with views overlooking the Christmas tree. Four poster bed with twinkling lights. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bath salts, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and lotion included. Hot chocolate sachets, delicious biscuits, coffee pods and bottled water included.
Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff.
Welwyn was a quaint village with lovely shops.
Perfect stay and we will definitely return next time we need accommodation in the area.
The place is a gem. A small group of us stayed there as we were visiting London. Brilliant staff, lovely food, uber 5 minutes away and a train service from Welwyn North was great. Rooms were immaculate, comfy mattresses and great selection of tea, coffee, bottled water and biscuits in the room. Staff behind the bar and waiting on the tables can not be thanked enough.
The room is really beautiful and has all necessities: very charming with a super comfortable bed!
ALL the staff is always very friendly and helpful: Nicole was only on her 3rd day in at work and was managing it like a pro.
The restaurant has a very varied menu and the food (including breakfast) is simply delicious.
The perfect hotel for a short business trip!
We went to the White Hart hotel as a local hotel to stay in for a 60th birthday party celebration. We were in room 1 which was beautiful but it was the staff who made our stay so brilliant. They could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for making our stay so relaxed and enjoyable.
the staff were all very welcoming, very nice room, good breakfast. lovely old building with high ceilings and small doorways.
not one of these hotels that push you upstairs when the bar closes, would highly recommend and will return for sure
I found the cottage very superb, very quaint and also very clean. I found the property in a very nice location and quiet the garden’s were very stunning and kept beautiful. Would recommend and come again.
